i am curious to know how it feels to be a person belonging to minority community in Pak. Afterall even if the faiths we profess are different we are essentially from the same race. I am amazed at how religion can prevent us from belonging more rationally with each other.

Well put Mr Siddiqui. Pakistan is a society that
has evolved exclusivity into an art form. The
sad part is that very few are willing to fight for the many that are disenfranchised. The judge
who freed Iqbal Masih was assasinated, Iqbal Masih
barely in his teens was brutally murdered, and
the poor bishop tired of figting tyrants amongst us, decided to take his own life. Such is our
concept of morality - we blame corruption in
Pakistan - perhaps greater introspection will reveal the blemishes of our conscience that force us into the eeriely dark and silent world of apathy.
