After ploughing through the rather meaty substance of your story/essay (some semantics are better left alone), I would say it was well worth the wade. You revel in words...smacks of your background, or perhaps I am not being too objective.
Interesting to read something written by you in the most unexpected of places :)
So, I thought you fell off the edge of the planet! Instead you are sitting high on some craggy ledge contemplating this generation of brats, mocking at the silver spoon that sticks sorely from our (oops!!) their mouths.
Anyhow this is no bait to trap you into dialogue, just a pat on the back. Raw brilliance that enticed me earlier has once again tempted me to respond.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Aap care take karein

Mohammad Ali:
Excellent essay.
You diminished its value by calling it a story.I look forward to more contributions from you.
``Rangi ko Naarangi kahain, payaiy ko kahain khoya
chaltee ko gareee kahain,Dekh Kabeera Roya``
(it is simple but very difficult to translate---sorry)
Observations such as these may be too cynical sometimes, but are helpful in upsetting the apple-cart.....thus the `distribution` of the fruit is sometimes attained ,though briefly.
PM:I stay in touch with you through your posts.Needless to point this out to you,but I admire your `biobsies` & `autopsies`(the method).
Also, you never resort to chamcha-geeri to garner support from the bleating Ba Ba Blacksheep.
``Barree hai nange himayat sey zaat e ahle kamaal
Maseeh ko naheen parva o ranj e bay pidari``
tr:The ones who have been blessed transcend the need for applause(& approval).
Maseeh(Jesus..pbuh)the blessed one never bemoaned the fact that he had no father.
wassalaam

Syed Mohd Ali,
Wow, the level of introspection sure is impressive!
A heavy read, but not without its rewards. Hope to see a story sometime soon.
Don`t be too dejected if praise for this piece is not forthcoming... this depth of abstract philosopical musing is rather out of fashion, I think. All the same, it possesses the unassaibable virtue of being thought-provoking.
As an aside, I hope you do `get out` and let go of the intellect every now and then... Not all meaning is to be found through reasoning and conjecture.
best regards,
PM

Syed:
Welcome to Chowk.
The teaser describes this attempt as a short story. I have no qualms with the former. One will have to stretch the definition of the latter to fit this in that genre: more of a modified essay?
Structurally your sentences were loaded. Sexual hints were promised but not delivered. (“Lack of exciting life with wicked wife ......incest ....testosterone”.)
Food and sex have as old an association as apple and fig leaves. Could have developed it more. Felt a betrayed sense of going places before the ride struck a dead wall. On the positive side, this first effort here that barely had two typos, profound individual thoughts, and promises of better things to come from your keyboard.
“Can you pass me a story, please?”
regards
