heeng is asafoetida, which in latin mean the stinky spice (foetid), also known as devils dung.
its actually a persian spice, made famous by mughals and adopted in horrible hindu cooking.
Even today, is mostly imported to india from iran and afganistan, though kashmir also grows some.

apparently, Alxander the greats fingers stank of heeng even after he returned to macedonia. now many aprtments from edison to sunnyvale lose their deposits due to the smell of piss.

If urstruly were an Indian:

- Kashmir problem would have been long solved
- More hindus would have converted to Islam
- Heeng would have been outlawed
- Indians and Pakistanis may just be one big happy family (under Mughal II dynasty of course)

Ladies and gentlemen: Given that this anecdote tht I have been describing in my posts below, titled The Hindu, has been inspired by Urstruly`s advice, and given that further advice on how to deal with the Hindu is not forthcoming from Urstruly, we shall have to end with Scene IV below. Will the Hindu bleed the life out of the Good Muslim? Or will the Good Muslim survive to prove the triumph of Good over Evil in the Final Battle? Will we ever see that Succubus daughter of the Hindu again as she tries desperately once again to tempt the Good Muslim with the pleasures of the flesh and to thus prevent him from performing his Pious Duty of bowing in humble submission to the Almighty?

We will never know....unless further inspiration is forthcoming from Urstruly.
