#10 - fariha_shah,

Thanks for reading and appreciating. The Notebook is a freshly written piece. Yeah, well, love I believe has many shades of emotional depth, far, separated, detached; It varies from humanity to humanity.

Peace!

#1 - ana,

Thanks for reading. You were right in detecting impulses of Neruda`s essential consciousness in this piece. Atleast at present I consider him one that wrote of love in its finality, its continuing excessive end, and then broke the nib of his pen at that.

#2 - rozaiba,

#3 - nikki7777,

Thanks for reading. I don`t mean to fiddle with semantics here but just for a moment let`s think about the phrase ``within reason.`` What does it mean? Who defines it? What calibrates its degree? This phrase doesn`t have an objective meaning. We humans take it to mean varyingly at varying times. I could`ve agreed with you in many an instances as when you had at some occasion talked of and to signify the phrase ``within reason`` in some other worldly context. Everyone has a right to be opinionated, but I believe that one ought to live one`s life`s meaning to its abysmal depth. So if love be but one centrality of the meaning of my existence, I shall choose to explore it physically and metaphysically; I shall choose to explore its dimensions in whatever space they may hide; I shall choose to assume my self as a vessel that never fills with the spirit of love and to let it into my self; I shall express, radiate, elucidate love; I shall choose to live love and equally let it live me. I also believe that strengthens a soul, and bestows it with courage. Little does true love know to get hurt, but more and more to understand and to feel and to give.

#8 - Nadia_Zehra,

Thanks for reading. I appreciate you perusing the article critically. As per your requested clarification, the protagonist in this piece does feel helpless. But then he believes that hope can overcome helplessness. He did seem to ponder to commit suicide, but he didn`t kill himself. Two aspects of experiences meaning real to him held him back from losing hope. One was his once alive wife appealing him to live, and the other was his belief in the loving God as the supreme caretaker of truth-seeking souls. He was convinced that there shall come one day when he will be ecstatically happy and dwell through eternity in blissful union with his wife, someday.

Peace!

Faisal,

This piece has a very resiliently fresh impact and cohesive in redefining love. The semblance with primeval sentiments embosses love as a matter tangible in sense of meanings real .

However going through it I got strayed in one point: Tthough this can be considered a muscular aspect of the article making the effect carried in a very overwhelming way. But the motive or grounds it had is been unfamiliar to me.
If you could enlighten:

…Putting the pistol down, he gathered himself as a singular cohesive mechanism and standing up from the once blooming terrace lawn walked over to their bedroom.

What I have outlined is that taking account of a weapon seems to be a sort of helplessness in this scenario, like a failed attempt of suicide in these circumstances. And this state has empowered love.

Regards,

Man Faisal,

Wait til you get married. Then all your shoshas of love and marriage will disappear. Just you wait.

faisal,

something you wrote finally made it to the front page. . . lovely! :)

quite a bit of the imagery here is potent, and evocative. and i see shades and influences of some poets and writers. neruda comes to mind almost immediately.

hope to see more from you. .
