Oh and by the way, Charlie NEVER got any skin disease. Didn`t you read the article? It says he never got sick. You`re thinking of Cadbury - the one BEFORE Charlie.

I empathize with your feelings of regret pracha ol man....charlie was indeed one of a kind....a 5ft pracha as id often think of him... not a mere pet but a part of the family..
As i a read the above passage im reminded insistantly of the many walks that we accompanied ol charlie on, the most frequent route being f-8 to the ol khaldunia school to usman`s and then on to capital park before coming back again....ahh what a dog......!!!
anyways... as i leave here`s to you charlie....from the first time ali and myself took you to the vet when you contracted a skin disease...to the time you ran away from usman, ali and myself and we chased you all over f-8....not to mention the times you fathered a little heard of pups TWINCE U INSANE FRUSTRATED ANIMAL.....lol....... rest in peace ol boy....
ur pal,
nick.....

Shandana,
It`s nice to know there are other people out there who love dogs as much as I do. I`d like to think Kinky Friedman was right. Many thanks for your comments.

a fitting obituary for charlie, who must have been quite a character. its always more fun when they are. made me think of my last dog, haven`t had a dog since. i think holding him and watching the injection take effect and the last look in his eyes was one of the defining moments of my life. and we buried him in the back yard too, except we had to to dig him up again a couple of days later and bury him in the front because the rats were getting to him.
may both charlie and sher khan rest in peace. i think i quoted this somewhere else too, there is a line a kinky friedman book, that says `when you die, all the pets you`ve ever had in your life will come running to greet you.` i assume thats if you go to heaven of course.
best,
shandana

Very sad to hear about your loss. Pets are sweet and cute provided they do not bite.
