Some of indian cricketers are seriously challenged in that department .Are you serious ,do you really think that yousuf youhana is better looking than pathan, yuvraj, zaheer, dravidLaxman, kaif, dhoni ......
or even has the personality and aura of tendulkar.
If so I seriously think you need to have your eyes tested.

Best Wishes

The indian crowds were probably the worst I`ve seen in decades.
They tried to burn down one venue, threw projectiles into the
ground at another and pelted the Pak team bus with bricks in
Kanpur, one which narrowly missed Inzy`s head.

And this, after the sort of welcome the indians recieved in Pak
last year.

No class, whatsoever.

Sorry if this has already been posted-couldnt find it anywhere.

I was watching GeoNews last night, and in an interview with Yousuf Youhana, he said that in all the time that he played for the Pakistani team (708 years), he had never been offered any individual commercial/advertisement endorsements IN PAKISTAN.

However, on his trips to India, there were plenty of organistaions willing to sign him up for commercial activities.

He then went on to to say that the only explanation for this was his RELIGION.

Firstly, I am shocked that he has never been considered for any endorsements...just look at the Indian team, every player has endorsements irrespective of their religion or looks (and lets face it, someof them are seriously challenged in the looks dept).

Secondly-isnt that disgraceful that one of our premier batsman who gives all to Pakistan is singled out and discriminate din this way?

He also made references to him being deposed as VC, but he brushed it aside saying that being skipper/VC made no difference to him and that he would be there for the team all times...but reading between the lines (looking at his body language and tone of voice during the interview), he looked quite sad at this.

I think YoYo has been treated quite badly by US.

Why is every one being so pessimistic? Security is the concern of Indian board and pakistan team would never have gone to india if there were doubts regarding security of our players. We should concentrate more on cricket which has been really absorbing and riveting. i think things have changed since india last toured Pakistan in 2003. As far as iam as i know there was capacity crowd at mohali on the last day even when Pakistan was playing well. Then at Bangalore they appreciated innings of Inzamam and Younis. Some occurrence are common in cricket

Re: # 4

I knew it, that something was wrong and you people will try to whitewash it. The truth is what I saw on TV during the match in Banglore.

I am just worried about the security of Pakistani team............

I`m in India and i watched a blurb on tv , showing the pak cricket team lolling about at the taj malabar resort in Cochin, kerala, God`s own country, the locals name it and being wined and dined in other cities they`ve played at.And, Shoaib kamal, presumably has married wisely and well, an indian muslim , a wealthy family, with a villa in the Banjara hills locality of Hyderabad. The cheapest car in the family`s parking lot was a mercedes, atleast on the blurb they showed on tv.Well, DaimlerChrysler has a Mercedes car factory in Pune, making Mercs for the banias to ply in.I`m giving you something to kvetch about. That the quality of an indian Merc won`t be the same as a german one.The team is doing well, enjoying the best of entertainment, hospitality and media coverage, i assure you.

I`m more concerned about men and women athletes in pakistan....if this news report is anything to go by................

Clashes over Pakistan road race

Pakistani police have clashed with demonstrators protesting against the participation of women in a 10km road race in eastern Pakistan.
A police chief in Gujranwala, 200km (120 miles) southeast of the capital, Islamabad, said 10 people were hurt.

Protestors opened fire on the police near a stadium where the race was due to end, while the police fired into the air to disperse the attackers.

The group that called for the protest said police fired without provocation.

I am just worried about the security of Pakistani team. I hope and pray that they all come back without a loss of life or limb and preferably without third degree burns. In the last match in Banglore the whole stadium full of Hindus seemed quite pissed at them.

I was fortunate enough to watch India vs Pakistan match in India as a Pakistani Supporter ofcourse twice - once it was in Banglore , W . Cup Quater Final and the second one was in 99 in Eden Garden before World Cup ... obviously it was fun we got all the attention from the ground and security personals ofcourse as well for all the wrong reaons somehow - if you know what I mean ! -
As far as the current series is concerned its good - Pakistanis although we are not a strong unit but are more confident even after losing the first one dayer - I remember Mongia ( Indian Wicket- Keeper ) told once that ` my fav. team is Pakistan because this is the only team who hopes that there will be a miracle and they will win the game even if they need 200 runs in 5 overs with one wicket in hand `
Jai Inzi ... Gangulay Zindabad .. :)

Facts Well Narrated! Although I think the crowd was biased in all three venues.

There are more reasons for India to be ``bitterly diappointed`` than just being one up in the series and not capitalizing on it.

1. They are a much better team on paper and consequently in the international rankings. And of course they were the favourites to win the series.

2. Not failing to clinch the series despite the contest being on home ground. (the usual home ground advantage).
