...it was a take on the stupid traditions prevalent in desi homes ...i tried to play with words and raw-dust`s suggestion to `getting hooked up`would be perfect if it was meant for marriage, while i was pointing towards the hook-shot in cricket...the short pitched ball, movement of feet and a cross batted swat to the mid-wicket area for a four or a six...in favour of the girl...
