I like this article because it contains ``hands-on`` data - Chowk benefits from such articles. (Also, for those who have read my interacts from the past, it ought to be clear that I share some of the positive assessments that you make here - although generalization is probably not the way to go.)

But the last two paragraphs seem a bit rushed - they could have used some more reflection and could have been better shaped and elaborated - that would have made this a truly outstanding article.

AFAIK, Arjun has never stooped to such profanity, and no Indian poster who does so has been defended by other Indians. His posts are clear cut, logical, and mainly to rebut the lies routinely peddled by Paki posters here.

#225, last I read this article it dealt with Jews and our discussion was going around the Israel/Palestine issue in which the Israeli`s are clear aggressors. The things you mention were not the topic of discussion and most of them are not ongoing issues as well like the Israel/Palestine case; so please don`t thrown in off topic distraction to label others with. European Jews, were trying to displace them off their land, changing its demographic makeup- they weren`t looking for living in peace with the Arabs, they wanted exclusivity. If you can agree with most of #216, then obviously you too desire improved relations between Jews and Muslims. The Palestinians could have welcomed their Jewish cousins with open arms after WWII - but they chose to play the pan-Arab card that was popular then and until the demise of Nasser. Muslims and Jews can easily share the land, the holy places, and the future. Only tolerance can get us there.

I went back and read your post #140 on this subject and found the specific references to Abbasid, Spanish Ommayaads, and Ottomans very appropriate. This manufactured animosity between Muslims and Jews makes no sense to me - it`s almost as foolish as the ones among Hindus, Muslims, and Sikhs.
