ha, ahmedmadani is right. What/who is Canada, and why should we be concerned with him or her, or whatever it may be? Is it something like International Police Officers` Association, callling in to ask for money? :)

Well Shahid Congrats, your party won, however would it make a difference? Why is your name on the list? What have you done?

From the TO star:

Toronto`s mayor stood beside the newly elected, composed member of Parliament for Parkdale-High Park and said she was the best candidate for federal office he`s ever seen.

Peggy Nash, who defeated Liberal Sarmite Bulte, who`d held the riding since 1997, faced her happy, cheering supporters and vowed to work together with David Miller.

``Together we intend to make a difference for the city of Toronto,`` she said.

Let`s face it. The NDP is not going to win tomorrow even if its candidate wins in your riding. And whoever forms the government will likely maintain the same stance as the present government; this is because the government machinery does not change, nor does the bureaucracy. At the end of the day, the government of the day will in most cases take whatever stand the bureaucrats want it to take to protect themselves.

Good Heavens man! Canada, I am told, is a sophisticated and an advanced democracy. But how many people know where it is located? Where does it stand in the world of global politics?

It is Umrika,and Umrika!
