if you are talking about the statistics regarding the ``private`` dances.... hushhh.... it`s too secret an affair to be discussed... let alone gathering statistics

haven`t been ``fortunate`` enough to attend one of these parties so far but have seen some really amazing footage on mobile phones that has often tempted me to break into one of these ``paradises on earth`` but i`d rather live

and i agree .... muslim or non-muslim, saudi or non-saudi.... a woman ought not to be allowed behind the wheel of a car until men start using aeroplanes for their daily commutation

wise guy.....
i don`t know whether it was my brain or your thoughts... but i did not get your point(s) at all....

wiseguyin <<< after u told that u r `stuck` in that land. I hope u took ur family also with you. And are not planning to return anytime soon... >>>

no family of my own yet ( i don`t fancy the idea of having one at 24) and will probably go back to my good old pakistan before i start one.... and believe me, you wouldn`t want to put up with the saudis for very long....

and before you jump on to anything, read on....

ntsyed: <<< ... Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He happened to be an Arab, but he was NOT a ``Saudi`` Arab. Perhaps you can indulge in historical documents to learn the difference. >>>

saudis are a pathetic lot, especially the uneducated ones

Yeah...but not too long...three nights of ``Saudi champagne`` will give you a hangover worse than the most karra stuff you get off the highway at midnight.

.........this kind of hypocricy you will not find in kaffirs like me....

How can you?
You ought to have your own kind of hypocricy--

Vae-iz-e tUng nazar ney mujhhay kaafir jaana
aur kaffir yeh samajhhta hai musalmaan hooN meiN

Dear Echo

The couplet

Kaa`bay kis munh sey jaO-gey Ghalib?
Sharm tuum ko m`gar naheeN aatee!

applies to you and not to me. Because this kind of hypocricy you will not find in kaffirs like me. More over brother echo, for fundamentalists like you Akbar has said

Ab to kabay tak rail ka samaan hua jaata hai
Ab to engine bhi musalmaan hua jaata hai

maszid & Kibla sound cute when you utter them in your greek accent.

Here is a simple & straight forward one for you...

Kaa`bay kis munh sey jaO-gey Ghalib?
Sharm tuum ko m`gar naheeN aatee!

Ref#87 [and could you please tashreeh how the shair you quoted applies to ]

Dear EB

It is difficult to come out of quarnic stupor and understand the simple things.

The couplet applies because Hamid said that he will only satisfy his hajat-e-haj if [[there is a bar within walking distance of haram sharif].

Ghalib also says somthing similar about pub and mosque.

Maszid ke zer-e-saya, kharabaat chahiye
Bhau pas ankh kibla-e-hajaat chahiye

.......convert the haram sharif to haraam sharif.......

First time heard the combination of haraam & Sharif.
and in case you are still confused: Masjid-ul-Haraam & Muharram-ul-Haraam are perfectly OK phrases & always used.

..which means Haraam does NOT mean what you think. Except that Haramee & haraam zaada and HaramzadGee are the connotations you are trying to imply. Only in Hind you say?..pity!

and could you please tashreeh how the shair you quoted applies to our zinda musalmaan, Muurdaa-momin*?

*With Hamidm2 I have my arithmetic book (hisaab kitaab hai)--he`ll understand.

[there is a bar within walking distance of haram sharif ]

Dear Hamid

You are true decendant of ghalib. Good on you, convert the haram sharif to haraam sharif. As Ghalib said

Maszid ke zer-e-saya, kharabaat chahiye
Bhau pas ankh kibla-e-hajaat chahiye

``This Sufyaani Cabal which manufactures its own population & has taken title to a country in its own name needs all the help from thinking & caring muslims like yourself.``(echo)

echo -- this is one area I couldn`t agree with you more -- the audacity, the impertinence, the height of insolence and utterly stupid arrogant, backward, feudal thinking -- to name a whole country of Islam`s birth place -- by the wretched clan`s name of this pseudo-Sufyaanic cabal -- is simply mind boggling....

what this says that Islam`s Kaaba, its Medina and Islam itself and the whole Arabian Peninsula -- is the personal milkiat and domain of this Ayyash, Corrupt Clan...!

hamdium2 #82 {``mrs hamidm has been bugging me for many years, but i keep on citing my irreconcilable differences with the saudi regime ``}

Hamidum Sahib,
What is with these Muslim women, whether they are Hmong among us or Turks? Mrs. Salim (no numeric suffix as I only have one so far! ), has also been threatening for us to go to the Holy Land for circumambulationary rituals. Don`t these mominas realize that unlike the US, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Turkey, polygamy is quite legal and swift in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia?

echo,

..... I am looking forward to buying a four-day pass for the family to the twin theme parks of mecca and medina ....... mrs hamidm has been bugging me for many years, but i keep on citing my irreconcilable differences with the saudi regime .... if things work out and we are able to liberate the holy places, i would be more than happy to take her for a few twirls around the old kaaba ! ........... maybe they will even set up a roller coaster for the thrill seekers .......... . as for entertainment between asar and maghrib, i am sure the enterprising people of free mecca and medina will quickly figure out how to cater to the tourists ............

and I`ll say amen to that...in all seriousness. This Sufyaani Cabal which manufactures its own population & has taken title to a country in its own name needs all the help from thinking & caring muslims like yourself.

But it is your taxes which is supporting the thuggs who are their biggest backers; not to mention Mubarak, Abdullah, Qaddaffi, Musharraff blah blahs.

Alcohol or Nightclubs do not have anything to do with the State except that it should not be a party to issue licences & in any way encourage or promote what is prohibited for the INDIVIDUAL. Illicit behaviour & acts (sins) must carry with them the accomanying guilt, if any, of hypocricy; which, as is said so profoundly, is the tribute which vice pays to virtue.

As long as public peace is not disturbed and societal norms are not offended the State has no business in the bedrooms or basements of the nation.

echo..........

..... in all seriouness, don`t you think that muslims would be better off if mecca and medina were an independent state (or theme park) like the vatican - open to people of all faiths and women?........... look, i am willing to give up on the bars and nightclubs as long as they provide stand-up urinals and starbucks coffee ........
