Hmmm. I met my lady online in 2000. We are happy. I know 3 more success stories as well. It is very possible that things go right.

The devil is in the details. Dating both on the net and physical is like seeing the drawing room of a house. Wait till you visit the washroom, the kitchen, the lounge and the bedroom. Only then can you know or comment on the actual position of the house. The same is true for individuals. They are very nice but when you actually come to know about them in finer details, they are mostly cruel, dishonest, insensitive, selfish, self centered and thus unattractive.

``I do not disagree with acquainting with each other, as a precursor to dating, on the internet. After knowing each other enough on the internet, people can meet up for a date if they feel it right for themselves. ``
the article doesnt disagree with people meeting online and then proceeding to real life romance.....it only narrates a few hazards of such unions.......

Hello, Ammara jee!

(Interesting article likha hai aap ne)

Somethings I found to be variably context specific, here. One of these is the choice of country; in a secular society people can meet up physically while dating and have the final say in who they marry.

We know that the choices we make are our responsibility and we must face the consequences of these as a result. In the name of accountability the best thing is to be really sure if your choice of marriage is the correct one. And how can we be sure without dating him/her?

I do not disagree with acquainting with each other, as a precursor to dating, on the internet. After knowing each other enough on the internet, people can meet up for a date if they feel it right for themselves.

But online romance that develops for two people without adequately knowing (and worse, without meeting) each other is something that we must avoid; it is unhealthy.

Peace!

nice discrete reality brought to the fore..but even when this is being written down..many are falling prey..to somebody`s..falsely - purported claims of physique..good cars..good luck..

psychology is natural to understand the trend..which act as barrier..and serves a film of protection for one..which might be thin or a fortress like..
but that is for one to adapt to the surroundings..

surreal is internet when it comes to emotions..

in short..internet is for cine ticket booking and apparel..buying..
even Amazon is expensive..

more material was to be expected with examples..
