Hamid,
Faruk is menacingly close 2 u. Look @ this:
The women had two types of physiques one reminded me of scare crows the other of water buffaloes. The fair complexion they talk about is the color of a lizard just out of hibernation.
The women wear burkha's and the men wear beards, that does cover a lot..I thank Allah for his small mercies.

I think the Pakistanis have developed their own sense of beauty, I remember the first time I went there as a teenager, their women had more hair than me. The women wear burkha's and the men wear beards, that does cover a lot..I thank Allah for his small mercies.
The Pakistanis can thank him for their sheep.
I must admit some men had good figures...

Faruk

It seems that few chowkies watched the first of the series
of "Aliens in America". The handful that interacted here
give it a mixed review.
I am glad that it is being aired. Maybe after Ramadan and
Tarawih Prayers are done with in another week or so, more
people will catch it on Monday nights.

Hamidbhai:
You will be heartened to note that Irfan Mazdak Hussain shares your views about a fault line running right through Attock (see http://www.dawn.com/weekly/mazdak/mazdak.htm). The fair-skinned Central Asian Highlanders (I refer to the Abduls and not the Toyotas nor Connor McLeod) inhabiting the area northwest of Attock and the darker skinned Sub-continental Flatlanders the area southeast.
However, while you insist that the primary difference in the two stocks is their respective handsomeness and culinary excellence, Mazdak has a slightly different take. He claims that the stock to the northwest (while admittedly fairskinned enough to stir your Europhile loins) are nothing but a bunch of marauding glass eyed fundo a-holes. He also claims that the stock to the southeast (while replete with unnecessarily high amount of melanin) are the paragons of rational and enlightened behavior. Of course he makes his points with characteristic understatement.
Anyway, here’s what we think. We think that if the madrasis are quite content in having Rajnikanth as their sex symbol and want to gorge on idlis and utthapams (not to be confused with Robin Utthapa nor Marvan Attapattu), more power to them. Whatever floats your boat we always say.
Why don’t you leave them alone? Obviously you Central Asian Highlanders have a thing for fair skinned rear ends irrespective of the keister’s gender or species. But the Madrasis simply don’t swing that way. Ugliness is a very relative term. An idli gorging dark skinned Madrasi might consider a sheep’s butt crack ugly but then again a proud white tall Abdul with a full flowing beard might look at the very same crack with deep longing as his eyes flit back and forth between the sheep’s hooves and ass.
Can you imagine the scene? The heirs of Ahmed Shah Abdali, fair skinned and full bearded standing on a scenic hillside in Baluchistan admiring their herd, torn between the sheep’s ass and hooves. Torn between sex and dinner.

vrv,
..... sorry, but i base my view of madrasis on personal observation and interaction with hundreds of code-coolies from madras (is it the same as chennai?) ...... i am sure there are some fine looking people down there because, if i remember correctly, malik kafur did take his armies down here ....... even though he himself was a eunuch i am sure many of his turk/afghan soldiers were not .......
..... but, vrv, you must admith there is a lot of ugliness south and east of attock - and that includes places in pakistan like multan, dera ghazi khan, bhawalpur, jacobabad and karachi ...... actually the potohar, where i come from, is no paradise either .... luckily for me, my ancestors on my mother's side came with ahmed shah abdali and decided to stay behind ....... if we had left it to grandpa gopinath's genes i would have been just another madrasi .......
..... i know this is a very trivial issue, but i am vain and rather superficial when it comes to looks and food ...... if it makes you feel any better, you madrasis are a lot better when it comes to other things like democracy, rule of law and j2ee programming ........

Hema Malini,
Sridevi,

Waheeda Rehman,

Hamid, write something better that stands the scrutiny of reason.

jayp,
.... you will be delighted to hear that most of the real prostitutes in islamabad are afghanis - the chinese are mostly engaged in running massage parlors and slimming salons ....... we are an equal opportunity employer and i am sure we would be more than happy to employ madrasi girls if you can find any that do not suffer from a severe case of the uglies - which might be a challenge ......

Fair bodies - dark minds
While pakistanis are celebrating teh fair skin of their bodies, here is proof of their dark minds, 20 private, not govt colleges have reported zero, zero pass in secondary school exams.
Something to celebrate, who can know the knowledge base of a pakistani when the bodies are for sale by the chinese...just think about it scout.
from dawn of today
Going lower & lower
IT IS no secret that the state of education in the country has shown few signs of improvement over the years. An inkling of just how bad the situation has become is available from the notice sent by the city government to the heads of nine schools in Karachi demanding an explanation for the abysmal performance of their students, not one of whom managed to pass the Intermediate examination. It has been argued that the higher secondary schools generally have those students on their rolls who are not high performers and are unable to qualify for admission into colleges. But then, that does not explain why some colleges are not faring any better either. As pointed out by a recent report in this paper, 20 private sector colleges were also hauled up on account of the zero per cent pass rate of their students in the same exams. These colleges can rightly be asked how they would justify their existence.

The beausty of pakistani people that scout talks about is so ingained in the pak psyche that even goverment policies are guided by it. That is why the govt imported chinese to run the brothels so that the beauties could be put to work. That was the casue of teh lal masjid episode when the jihadis captured the chinese brothel operators, and naturally, the brothels being a central plank of pak govt policy of importing brothel operators, the govt sent in the troops.
The scouts views are the central premise and widely accepted by the pakistanis. After jihadis, who provide billion dollars a year for pak aremy, the beauties of pakistan could become a money spinner for pak army.
keep up the good work scout.
