Your writings bring back a lot of memories. My father used to work in Mustashfa-al-Markazi and we lived close by on Tareek Soor. I remeber long walks from Shara-e-Zawayia to Fashloom... it was a lot of fun and during very hot days of summer we will take refuge in the Bareed-al-Markazi where air-conditioning was always working. Another novelty was the tuna (tun) sandwich and a bottle of coke all under fifty piasters... at other times we will pool in 2.5 dinars to go for roasted chicken... good old days and a lot of memories...probably will live them one day when I re-visit the place where I was born and spent 18 years of my most care free and happy life...
Keep on writing Sir... thanks
