So much for a Secular India and its SECULARITY. I see you`ve stopped sprouting that line for the moment. That was the point. Nothing more. Irony of ironies! :)

Hi ,
It sounds more of a political monkey tale rather than a poem, sorry if i offend you. But yes, its a reality in mixture with your idea and well expressed.

It has been observed that once a monkey has developed a taste for human flesh and blood, he is no longer a monkey, for he begins to stand up straight on 2 legs, and use tools like those used by other 2 legged beasts fo fulfill his ever growing hunger and thirst for human flesh and blood.

My views, cryptically expressed here, are posted in the reply section of the most fortuitous article above, on the sorry plight of Indian Muslims, for the curious who asked me to elaborate on what i meant here when i spoke of the myth of Indian Secularism and tolerance.

Never mind explaining. I went and read the replies in that article....and really all I have to say is ``Bhraaji aap side se nikal jaao..``
I also stand corrected. I have never met a monkey like you in India (I am sure they exist though). In any case, I am happy that you are ONE LESS MONKEY we have to deal with in India.

`` I think ICONOCLAST got it, and probably all those who were involved in the Jamal Hasan article debate.``
-- First, this is another unhealthy practice that you are introducing into chowk. No thread continues into another thread with Chowk. Not until now. We speak, argue, disagree as per one article and drop it at that and we start fresh again. Chowk is not a soc.culture.india/pakistan to which you seem more attuned to. If you re-read all the replies in that article, it would be clear that you were the one who consistently kept changing his viewpoint throughout and you were the one who kept claiming that you won. you know what you actually did to yourself there...
`` We have a little snitch. A South Indian Muslim who stands for the myth of a secular, tolerant India. ``
-- I do, and I am proud of it. Come to Canada and i will introduce you to a bunch of Srilankan and Indian Tamils who are my brothers/friends. They belong to hindus, muslims and christians and represent a microcosm of the secularism prevalent in India. Years of being a part of the TELO/LTTE has not hardened them of their secularism.
`` I got to him. Rather verbally brutally ``
-- Yeah, you were indeed verbally brutal, but after i warned you not to go overboard, you reined in your senses only to loose them now. Again remember that your back is not covered.
`` i`m afraid, but nonethless, the gentleman has been confronted by reality and found it somewhat distasteful as did many others.``
-- don`t kid yourself.
`` In the process none of us came out angels, but i won that round.``
-- what crap..? you claim that you won yourself ? Go kiss MK`s ass.
And he knows it. Even though I hit him with some despicably low blows below the belt in the process.
-- how low was that one

p.s : i did warn you not to provoke.

Been away for a few days and got to this peom (???) only today. A good account on the happenings in India today. I agree a trifle condescending,,, but then we do deserve it, don`t we ?
Re: OMAR1974
`` Forward to the BJP, VHP, and RSS, if they have websites, and file a complaint with them that such propaganda has been started against them by this article`s author. ``
-- Why would i do that ? And even otherwise this poem criticises all the politicians. They don`t have to be the BJP variety alone. All the politicians in this sordid drama are being victimised here.
`` Perhaps then, they will drop by, verify your allegation, and state that `they have taken note of this incident,` after cross referencing it and, `advise` the author to stop publishing such stories! ``
-- ha...ha...ha...
``So much for a Secular India and its SECULARITY. ``
-- You can say what you want but the fact remains that the world will always perceive India as Secular and Democratic. How they perceive you depends only on you and not on us. ? We are a SECULAR nation. You have to Live in India to understand that.
