Not sure I get you there. Bend it like Beckham was pure chutney while Chandni Bar, on the other hand, a very good attempt at some serious cinema. Where exactly in between does this one lie?

Perhaps you would want to compare this to Saeed Mirza`s Naseem or Shyam Benegal`s Junoon. . .
