Quinton

I just read your profile, you are a really cool dude. Loved the picture you look like a Sardarji. Surinam is the birthplace of some great foodtballers like Ruud Gullit and Frank Rijkaard and Edgar Davids, what a place.

:-)

Hello Zia,

As it happens, the coldest weeks of winter descended on Boston the day after I wrote that poem :-) But the December snows were definitely gone by January. Of course we got some March snows that are still melting...

All jokes aside, there is real evidence of an increase in the average temperature, and a potential for ecological disaster as some species detect the seasons by length of day, e.g. great tits, whereas others use the temperature, e.g. winter moths. When these species depend on each other, it`s not hard to imagine the disruptions that will be caused by their de-coupling.

Dennis Kucinich is still running of course, as you know, though he`s done in Mass. But we are busy preparing for the convention in July, where he will be present having earned a few delegates along the way. He will continue to push the progressive agenda until the convention; after that he will do what all of us who want Bush out will have to do: support Kerry.

Hello wajahat,

Sorry, no joke, just a word that happens to have two meanings: a kind of bird and mammary gland. British humor perhaps? :-)

Hello temporal,

Thanks! I hope it doesn`t come to that. There is still time to change our ways...

Hey Quinton: Shouldn`t it be more along ``December snows are in March forlorn``? :)

I guess it IS 60 today. What news on the Kucinich campaign trail?

Zia
