Yes Amit you are completely right. All arranged marriages end up this way. btw only few love marriages are truly successful. most of the guys sneak around after having kids and getting bored eating same food daily.

Bina, I think it`s a really good article and I definitely agree with you...a NBD might be wonderful! If it changes people`s expectations of women being subservient and ever serving, it might just be the best thing to happen in a long time. You know what else we need? We need women to stop criticizing other women when they stand for themselves; I would really love to meet these women and know why they can`t be happy with other women progressing...but maybe that`s just another who subject. Good work though!

Bina,
I barely know Junaid Jamshed. I have heard the name but have not heard or seen him. Does he have a goatee or it’s like the one they don’t trim for fear of spending couple of rupees on a razor or a Nai on the street?
Anyways, the National Pig Day for men won’t fly for the simple reason that after a certain age men are just bakra or lose the pig after they have a beer belly ( in Pakistan that must be Rice belly). Once you get that damn pouch and love handles, only your regular b1tch would put up with you.
I know this first hand as I am going thru the phase. Visits to the local bar have turned totally dry. When you come back home, just hope & pray for a non b1tchy day!
So, give up the hope; men and women cannot be equal. Have your NBD and forget about the NPD.

HP - thanks! I just wanted to say that i loved the idea of a National Pig Day for men. However I won`t write that article. I`m too afraid of the guys who gave death threats to Junaid Jamshed for daring to shave his beard off. But I invite any of the rest of you to give it a go!

Irfan,
Dont speak for me. Your comments were not worthy of a response-you were fortunate that I even bothered. Posting ``a joke`` that even you could not find the humor in-just entitled male stupidity, and then parroting any question you were asked in an attempt at evading that stupidity-is a waste of everyone`s time.
What is it with you and shore sahib?

Good point HP, now that I look at the interacts it`s been just me and Samina for a couple of days. And although I (and perhaps her) may find our exchange interesting, I`m sure no one else does. So, I bow out.
Sorry for hogging the board :)
Peace,
Irfan.

Since Samina and Irfan are hogging this thread by continuing discussion on b1tch slapping and underpants fetishes, I thought someone else had to step in to separate these two warmongers.
Bina, I like the idea of NBD. Though most of the married men would tell you that they suffer a NBD everyday of their married life and some days are just worst than the other. Still, designating one day like the 23rd march or the day after Eid would just allow men to know in advance when to take off to avoid the most horrible day of the year.
My concern is this: if the designated day does not fall during the PMS, some women may not love it completely.
What do you say?

Dear Irfan Sahib,
Miss Sha`s patronizing has to do with her overwhelming and nauseating arrogance. I think she needs to learn to talk to people especially those who like her superior writing but cant stand her arrogant self importance and `` I am better than Thou`` attitude.

Re: # 59 (Saminasha),
Here`s a third meaning: I don`t like taking orders from people :)
You`re not angry? What`s with all the patronizing then? Anyway, I may be tone-deaf, but you certainly are evasive. You want answers to everything you ask, yet you don`t want to extend the same courtesy to others.
Peace,
Irfan.

Irfan,
No, I`m not angry. You seem to have difficulty distinguishing tone. But your evasion of having to actually explain the ``humor`` of your post can only mean 2 things:
1. The humor of that particular post is questionable
2. It does not exist.

Re: # 57 (Saminasha),
Now you`re getting angry, that always kills a good exchange.
Anyways, it takes all the fun out of a joke if one has to explain it. But tell you what, I`ll tell you what`s funny about what I said if you tell me what`s funny about middle aged pedophiles exploiting children :)

Irfan Bacha,
Explain the humor of the following post:
``#10 by irfanhamid on March 22, 2005 6:32pm PT
Great idea Bina, in fact, I think every day should be National Bitch Day. Then we guys can go around slapping women and say ``you deserve it, BITCH``. What fun life would be for both men and women.``

Re: # 52 (Saminasha),
I did not claim that what you said about Japanese businessmen was not funny or ironic, I said I chose to ignore that irony (or humour). Also, I didn`t say that men slapping women was funny, only that it was said in a humorous vein. If you claim that your saying Japanese businessmen admiring adolescent underwear can be funny then at least have the sense of fairplay to let what I said fall in the same category.
Also, make up your mind! Is it funny, ironic or both? :)

Re : amit # 44
I agree that it’s not easy to handle a well rounded woman, but that’s all the fun in a relationship. I am not sure arraigned marriages are responsible. The idea of controlling someone does not always work. I have seen a lot of guys controlled by their wife’s.
Just curious what do guys find attractive about “good” girls …..
Regards,
Faruk

Precisely Bina!
Miss Sha has taken NBD and Run with it along with her post neo feminist baggage.
