Rubina Jafri,

I once heard a female biker say, ``If you don`t live on the edge, you miss the view.``

Goodluck!

Peace!

Congratulations!!

One should live one`s life on the edge. There is no other way to live it. Skydiving is a lot of fun. And a lot more expensive and far scarier (initially) than bungee jumping. Best of luck......

need to have this much heart (jigra)..to enjoy this fun stuff..which is fun..

though after every action movie..every youth..feels like he`s rocky..and bandit queen..:)

but there are less trend setters..and little more than them the directors..and many watchers..:)

Re: # 4

Irfan Hamid

You are right about the time factor, at that time it seemed much more than just 3 seconds.
Thanks for correcting me though.

Rock climbing and base-jumping sound interesting...will definitely think about it.

@Rubina,

Bravo, never thought a Pakistani soccer-mom would do something like bungee. There`s nothing like an adrenaline rush is there? Beware, it`s quite easy to go from being an occasional participant to becoming a junkie.

By the way, time perception usually is messed up during an adrenaline rush. To have a free fall from a still start straight downwards for 7 seconds would mean that you fell about 800 feet :-)

A free fall of 160 feet from a still start will take approximately 3 seconds.

Regards,
Irfan.

PS: You should think about rock climbing and/or base-jumping.

Dear Rubina,

I would like to echo T-bhai’s words of encouragement, and somehow feel that sky-diving will be a lot more challenging – the element of unpredictability being so much higher. And when you do, I hope you do not land up near any of the Chowkies’ plates – you may get jerked around a lot harder than the bungee jumping – in fact eaten alive! :)

Sincerely,
Beej.

Thanks a lot for the encouraging words, they mean a lot to me.

And yes it was the ultimate rush......until I try sky diving.
