First of all, only Kashmiris have the right to choose the means by which they intend to fight the Indian occupation force. Your opinion matters only as much as another part of your body.
Secondly, all foreign occupations are brutal by definition and the foreign occupation force is a legitimate target in all freedom struggles.
Thirdly, the loss of civilian life in this episode is regrettable but please beware that the only version available in this case (like all other cases in Kashmir) is that of the Occupation Army, handed down to the PTI and published by the International media.

``At least 33 people were killed at the camp six miles south of Jammu. Seven civilians on the bus carrying the gunmen died in an initial cross fire, with soldiers and their family members killed after the gunmen entered residential quarters, police said.``
It is quite obvious that Kashmiris attacked the Indian Army camp and had no intention of killing the civilians on the bus.

[Do you honestly believe that a non Punjabi judiciary would have acted against the Army?]
Pakistani judicial system is a large cesspool and our judges are akin to pieces of excrement floating in this cesspool. It has been this way since Maulvi Tameezuddin vs. the Federation of Pakistan. The transcriptions of taped conversations b/w Justice Chaudhary Qayyum of Lahore High Couurt and Saifur Rehman (Nawaz Sharif`s henchman) where the Justice begs forgiveness and promises to expedite the cases against Benazir can bring tears to the eyes of any Pakistani patriot. (And can make a non-Pakistani puke with disgust)
The judges who have resisted the executive have been non-Punjabis, Justices Cornelius, Dorab Patel, Sajjad Shah, Haleem Siddiqui and most recently Justice Tariq Mehmood of Baluchistan High Court. The only exception that comes to mind is Late Justice M.R. Kayani, may his soul rest in peace.

[I asked some of my relatives who were commissioned in WWII and friend`s fathers/grandfathers who they would have sided with if the Army had to be used against ``nationalists`` and, to a man, the answer was ``the British.``]
This is the curse that Pakistan faces to this day.
And herein lies the answer to the million dollar question, i.e. why Pakistanis meekly accept every tinpot dictator that comes along.
The largest ethnic group in Pakistan, the Punjabi Mussalmans, have no history and hence no appreciation of self-rule. They were loyal to the British Raj, and before that to the Sikha Shahi, and prior to that the Dehli Sultanate, and before that to every invader that came across the Attock River, as long as he weilded a large enough danda.
For a thousand years, to every usurper they have said: Jee AyaN nooN, ayi jao, yaddi jao, te langi jao. How can they say anything different to Ayub, Zia or Musharraf?

The Aga Khani
- Provided intellectual and political leadership to Pakistan movement in the form of Prince Aga Khan and Mohammed Ali Jinnah.
- Migrated in large numbers with their wealth and enterpreneurial skills to Pakistan.
- Gilgitis (mostly Aga Khanis) launched the freedom movement in Kashmir and were able to liberate Gilgit and Baltistan.
I don`t know or care if they are ``full`` muslims and neither should other Pakistanis, because politically they are more muslim than any other ethnic group in Pakistan. They way they slavishly follow Aga Khan`s farmans is truely disgusting, but so do the followers of the Pirs of Barri Imam, Golra Sharif, Sarwari Jamaat and thousands of other gaddi-nashins in Pakistan.
PS. NLI is not composed of Aga Khanis but mostly Balti (Baltistani) Shias. Aga Khanis serve in large numbers with Gilgit Scouts. (Major Hasan Khan who led the rebellion in 47-48 against the Maharaja was an Aga Khani I think)

Uncle Tom,
You being a proud Bungladeshi shouldn’t worry about what Quaid did or didn’t want. Only repentant Bungaldeshis who have crawled across the Thar to come back to the motherland can comment on our founding fathers. You should concern yourself with your own terrorist founding father, Mujibur Rehman.
[“You Jamaat types can hardly count beyond that-don`t go above your head.”]
I am not a Jamaat type, and although most Jamaat types that I know are idiots, they still have more sense than uncletom types like you.
Wouldn’t you agree that Golam Azam is the next Bungladeshi PM?
[“He made it amply clear on 11 August 1947.”]
I will post several speeches where Jinnah clearly enunciated his vision of a non-secular Pakistan.
[“Or does that speech have to be translated for you folks in the language of your masters-Arabic?”]
The only human being that I can ever accept as my master is the Prophet himself, and his language was indeed Arabic.... Do you have a problem with that? Was he not your master too before you changed masters uncle tom??
