He Said, She Said

Stuka,

Here are a couple speeches by Jinnah which prove that he wanted a non-secular Pakistan. Let me know if you are not convinced than I will post more.

January 25, 1948

To lawyers of Karachi

``I could not understand a section of the people who deliberately wanted to create mischief and made propaganda that the Constitution of Pakistan would not be made on the basis of Shariat ... Islamic principles today are as applicable to life as they were 1,300 years ago ... Islam is not only a set of rituals, traditions and spiritual doctrines. Islam is also a code for every Muslim which regulates his life and his conduct even in politics and economics and the like``.

Simple Questions:

- Why does a secular country need to make Shariat the basis of its constitution?

- Can a person who believes that Islam regulates every aspect of a person`s life including politics and economics be called a secularist?

July 1, 1948:

Opening ceremony of the State Bank of Pakistan:

``I shall watch with keenness the work of your Research Organization in evolving banking practices compatible with Islamic ideals of social and economic life. The economic system of the West has created almost insoluble problems for humanity...... We must work our destiny in our own way and present to the world an economic system based on true Islamic concept of equality of manhood and social justice. We will thereby be fulfilling our mission as Muslims and giving to humanity the message of happiness and prosperity of mankind.``

Simple Questions:

- Have you heard of a secular state that wants an economic system based on ``Islamic concepts``?

- Why would a secular state or its founder want to create ``banking practices compatible with Islamic ideals``?

Regarding trading insults, you are no longer an anonymous internet handle, you are Parag Vohra, a jeeta jaagta insaan, and I prefer not to trade insults with people who use their real names on the internet. Samjhay?

[``The fact that it happened is the main issue. What the “Muslim World” said or not is peripheral. With the “Muslim World’s” moral support and two dollars I can buy a cup of coffee.``]

Happened? When did it stop happening? It is happening even today and will continue to happen till the bakras break their silence and begin to kick before being slaughtered.

Forget the coffee, the best course of action for you is to embrace Islam and apply for political asylum at the nearest Pakistani consulate.

PAKISTANIS:

Please note this:

- There are 104 refugee camps in Gujurat where Gujurati Muslims are living in sub-human conditions with no chances of rehabilitation anytime in the future. Indian PM has clearly blamed the Indian Muslims for their situation.

- Indian Govt. is getting ready to hold elections in Gujurat. BJP will win with an overwhelming majority if Indian commentators are to be believed. Moral of the story: Muslim genocide, rape, murder and pillage pays rich electoral dividends in India.

- BJP would want to repeat the Muslim genocide India-wide so that it can hold national elections and come back with a solid majority. Indian muslims in UP, Hyderabad and Maharashtra will give a slightly better account of themselves as compared with Gujurati Muslims, but as of today they are NOT equipped to face a full fledged onslaught of the facist Hindu majority.

- We must demand of our government to provide all possible help to Indian Muslims in advance so that they are better equipped to face the maudaring Hindu hordes who are preparing RIGHT NOW for the genocide. (Note how the police officers who tried to resist Hindus in Gujurat have already been transferred in anticipation of the next round.)

- The next few months will be harsh for Indian Muslims, but will also offer some opportunities to Pakistan. I forsee thousands of refugee camps like the Shah Alam refugee camp all over India. I forsee hundreds of MPs (or prominent muslims) like Ehsan Jafri, burnt to death after watching the rape of his daughters. I forsee several hundred thousand muslims killed and injured. But I also forsee substantial retaliation like Bombay in 1993 repeated all over India..... which can set India afire and burn it to the ground.... only if the Pakistani govt. steps in and equips Indian muslims with the necessary tools.

[1. If Jinnah wanted a secular Pakistan]

Jinnah didn`t want a secular Pakistan. If he did, he never said so in as many words. He emphasized that Pakistan will not be a theocratic state but ``secular Pakistan`` was never uttered by Jinnah.

Now here is some homework for you, you can ask Hamdani for help if you wish:

Name 24 Pakistani Kemalists. (Actually 2 dozen is aribtrary, you can name one dozen or half dozen if you want).

I`ll start the list:

1- Yasser Hamdani

2-

YLH,

Why would an admirer of Jinnah the constitutionalist support a pygmy like Mush, who values the constitution as much as the toilet paper from Fauji Papers Ltd?

Even more amazing is your attempt to somehow equate Mush and Ataturk. I have heard the rumor that Ataturk, unlike any of our generals, actually fought and won a war for his country!!

Rsaxena/Godot`s Pumpkin,

I hope the K-mart brand vaseline that Godot used eased the pain somewhat.

Is Godot your cousin?

Farzana,

You were critical of Gandhi, so in order to keep the ``balance`` chowk.com had to allow postings from tanta and haramiu that abused the Prophet. Its not easy getting certified as a liberal and secularist in Pakistan ya know!

PS. I don`t agree with your premise since it might be used to provide an excuse or alibi for the criminals Bagpipe, Advani, Modi etc. However, I admire your gumption, lady, and hope that Gujarat has many more daughters like you. I have also lost much of my sympathy for Gujurati Muslims who have shown absolutely no sign of fighting back.... even sheep struggle before being slaughtered.

The referendum is a farce. Absolute, complete, total, 100% unadultrated farce.

Mush has lost me as his supporter. Mush had been a fairly decent leader till this referendum bullcrap, true; however, we need strong institutions and respect for the constitution and Mush is by no means indispensible. Mush has turned out to be a 2 takka tinpot power hungry dictator like Zia and Ayub. Laanat.

Don`t you realize that some spinsters (and their cyber munchkins) might be jealous of your marriage and motherhood?

The Great Illusion

I was being sarcastic when I called Tikka Khan a great Pakistani son of the soil etc. I would have been proud of him if would have resigned his commission like Gen. Yaqub Khan or Admiral Ahsan. The nazis who argued that they were just ``following orders`` were shot dead at Nuremberg, so I don`t think this argument holds for Tikka Khan. I wish we Pakistanis would have tried Tikka Khan, Niazi and Rao Farman as war criminals which I think they were.

tahmed321, Beavis calls you Butthead321 for good reason.

A great Pakistani son of the soil who made each and every patriot proud passed away today. RIP Tikka Khan.

RAWALPINDI, March 28: Gen Tikka Khan (Rtd), former chief of the army staff, died here on Thursday, at CMH Rawalpindi, after a protracted illness. He was 87. He was laid to rest with full military honour, in the army graveyard.

[``You are such a poisonous snake, suar ka baccha. Hindu tumhara Jeenaa haram kar denge aur hum tumhe marne nahin denge.``]

AVR, I think you are a true representative of Indian Hindus. You embody Hinduism in its genuine and pristine form. Please keep interacting on chowk; and don`t watch too many Indian movies. Although you are an enemy, I respect you a lot for the honest representation of the vast majority of Hindu opinion. Are you from Ahmedabad?

[``Since Muslims practice cutting of fore skin of penis, it exposes glans which is the most erotic area genitals. It gives easy erection.``]

No wonder Hindu women get starry eyed when they find out that I am from Pakistan. Did you find this out from personal experience? It sure seems to be common knowledge among Hindu females.

[``are you Pakistani?``]

I am of Pakistani origin.

[``if you are, did you ever get this passionate about the sectarian violence that occurs in Pakistan every day?``]

I am passionate about a number of things and you have no need to know about `em all. But this one you should know: I have absolutely no passion for aging desi spinsters who repeatedly enroll in community colleges to get the ``student`` label.

Don`t worry too much about sectarianism or communalism please. Why don`t you go and play your makhi/machhar or pumpkin/munchkin game with rsaxena?

Have you seen ``Vagina Monologues`` (Eve Ensler)?

In order to understand the essence of burqa/hijab/chador/modesty, you`ll have to divorce your low-caste hindu husband and convert to Islam or another monotheist religion. I don`t think you can understand it (or reform it) from the outside.

Oh please, cut this sanctimonious BS. Take your mirror and use it to see your fat banya behind, if you want to look at some real oozing warts.

[``I meant the violence in Gujarat in Feb./March this year. The last communal riots that took place in India were in `92 (If I am unaware of any riots in the intervening years, they were probably too small in comparison to the recent violence). The interim years have been quiet.``]

90`s was quiet because of the massive muslim retaliation in Bombay and not because of a change of Hindu heart. That is why the Hindus went after the Christians during the 90`s.

[``So you are completely ignoring the fact that when East and West Pakistan could not get along it questioned the very basis of religion-based political structures``]

No it does not question TNT. It questions many things... it questions the ability of W. Pakistanis to provide a just and equitable share in governance to Bengalis; it questions the ability of Pakistan`s Armed forces to fight Indian financed and supported terrorists...... But it reaffirms the TNT. Bengali muslims, like Punjabi Muslims and Gujarati Muslims, and all other muslims of Indian origin are a nation distinct from Hindus; and can only surrvive and prosper in their own homeland.

On ``abandoning``, like I said Pakistan`s borders were open for ALL Indian muslims till 1951. Those who didn`t have the means to migrate were unfortunate, those who had the means but chose not to are now suffering the consequences for not being ``smart``...

[``or that (Indian polity) has handed political defeats to the sympathizers of the riots?``]

Please be a bit more honest than this. Massacring muslims pays rich dividend in India. BJP WILL WIN ELECTIONS IN GUJARAT IF HELD TODAY!! I have yet to see an Indian commentator say otherwise.
