The Science of Moon Sighting
Something I have been trying to find out for a long time is: does the moon`s ``rise point`` also move on the horizon? Or for any point on the surface of Earth does the moon always appear to rise at the same point on the horizon? I would be grateful for your answer.

Over the seasons, the sun changes the point on the horizon where it rises.(I live in the southern hemisphere and in the spring the sun`s ``rise point`` moves to the north. In the autumn, it moves to the south).Something I have been trying to find out for a long time is: does the moon`s ``rise point`` also move on the horizon? Or for any point on the surface of Earth does the moon always appear to rise at the same point on the horizon? I would be grateful for your answer.
