India’s Potential Lose-Lose-Lose Scenario

This is insider info indeed because I heard , the guy who played Mrs.Doubtfire - aka Robin Williams mentioned this on a program _ I believe it was the movie channel or some where Robin told the audience how Matt and Ben had based their story on an Indian genius ( Robin even had a comment - you mean Indians of the feathered kind to which they said no Indians of the dot com kind) , this is what he recounted , The story essentially uses the lifestory of Ramanujan- a reclusive mathematical genius but spun it into an Boston Irish working class character that the audience could relate to.

Any further comments .

Actually Ben Affleck and Matt Damon took Ramanujan`s life story and spun a story about a cabbie or somebody who suddenly aolves the most difficult Math problem known.

Do not remember the name of the movie.

The guy who played Mrs. Doubtfire played a pert

This is to reaffirm and reiterate that this person is neither aware of individuals who rejoice in names such as Hamzad Afaqui nor keen on watching the parade of individuals such as Progressive who run around in the EMperor`s new clothes.

Editors may complain to the mental institutions that house these incorrigible retards.

Kazanzakis was controversial.

I may have mixed the names up - there was also this guy called Elie Kazan who made atleast one movie in which he brings out the suffering of the Armenians and Greeks under Turkish rule.

I think this one was called ``America America``.

I have heard apologists claim that the Turks claimed white Christian boys because they the Turks were in a minority etc. - there is no limit to the amount of sophistry applied to explain away the evils of ``Muslim rule`` in different parts of the world.

In India it is claimed that the Brahmins were bloodthirsty demons , who were put in their place by the noble savages from Central Asia and other parts.

I remember reading the situation of the Xian majority ( yeah in the not distan past in Lebanon) under Turkish rule , and how they suffered the yoke of ``dhimmitude``.

This has been the norm.

Any non-muslim could not ride horses , wear ceremonial garments , etc .across the spectrum of nations that Islamic rulers brought light to.

You must also add the subtle means that the Islamic rulers used to convert local feudals and or noble classes - convert and keep your estate or else become a rent paying tenant - this is the same theme in Croatia, India and Albania for example.

The sad part is that the Turks used the people whom they love to call the ``mountain Turks`` aka the Kurds to cleanse Armenian villages , so much so that millions lost lives, Armenian women were forcefully married off to Turks or sold to brothels.

I believe Nikos Kazantzakis has captured the mood and lives of those times in his movies.

Mr YLH if you read your history well , you will realise areas such as Tharparkar in Sind were Hindu majority areas before partition and just after. What happened in the aftermath was that the Sodha Rajputs as well as the Menghwars were increasingly discriminated and many have migrated to Rajasthan, Haryana and Delhi.

Anyways that part as much any other border area has people who speak the same language across the border.People tend to live where their forefathers have lived unless they are forced out via economic, social methods.

There were reports in Indian mags about Sodhas being forced into Islam and hence choosing their way to India , where by the way they are not yet Indian citizens .

It will indeed be difficult for an average person to suffer the pomposity of the Mastoi or Marwat or any other feudal buffoon in the ``local America``.

I am glad that the poor , indigent people of India are leaving for the heaven on earth that Pakistan is.

Soon we will be rid of our poor not to mention troublemakers.

The raison d`etre for zarzamin was that it was to welcome Muslims of the subcontinent - now will you please also take in Nasim Khan and his ``biharis - urf Pakistanis`` from Bangladesh.

I beleive with the every anti-Muslim riot in India people have moved to the serene safety of Pakistan.

The last time I checked Muslims from UP,Bihar were still migrating to Bombay and Dehli.

If SUnil Dutt is Muslim , ( a Mohyal Musalman that would make him , not sure if there are any of that kind), however I kinda think migrating to Pakistan would have given him back his ancestor`s lands in Jhelum or Pind Dadan Khan and he could have remained a feudal , rich and powerful.

I am playing devil`s advocate here.

Many communities have made India home through brute force or through financial savvy.

Now regarding financial savvy , my guess is that (a) The caste injunctions which prevented many Indians from setting up businesses gave these groups a foothold, which they were able to sustain through shrewdness and political savvy at times such as courting British rulers etc.

(b) Once these groups rose , they had enough political bandwidth which they could buy through their superior economical status.

Note that if Indians in the past had revolted vehemently against foreigners setting up business or ruling over them in sufficient numbers , who knows history might have been vastly different.

It comes to me as no surprise that the first state to be swayed by emotions of this sort is also the most commercially oriented state in India.

You must also note that all these commercially oriented communities without regard to their religion of choice have always been clannish.

Note: This is not an apology for any sort of activity / occurence,it is just an attempt to look at things in an alternate manner.

I am deeply touched by the sufferings of your ancestors at the hands of the vile caste Hindus.

Man take my word , they are Kam Zat and they always behaved like that.

And that makes it from the frying pan into the fire for your presumed benighted ancestors.

I have always heard people claim that their ancestors were Brahmins or Rajpoots ot Jatts but no one has the candor that you have displayed.

I am glad that you realise the debt you owe the intersessors who interjected some wild oats.

Now to put facts right.

Firstly since you have pointed out that your ancestors were of low caste - I would assume that they must be of Dravidian extraction - what does that make you - Abdul?

Enough of that BS later.

Regd. Nalanda and Taxila , I think the Kam Zat Hindus conspired to destroy them so that the fair name of your intercessors was tarnished.

By the way lemme point this out. It did not require the sexual profligacy of holy men and warriors to emancipate lower castes in many parts of India. That awareness and awakening came out of Indians from the lower as well as upper strata and many are reaping the benefits of that.

India saw a President from the lowest caste . Can you see a Gujar or a Meghwal albeit a Muslim becoming part of the elected Govt leaders anytime soon in Pak zar zamin.

Abdul - MT could stand for Mohd. Tahir or Mathai Thomman or Manouch Tata.

Why should you care about who destroyed the Alexandrian libraries. You must be happy that the books that preached blasphemy were consigned to Godly wrath.Ain`t that right Abdul or is it Achmed.

Abdul, Did you know that there are strains of Hinduism that practically agree with the atheistic Buddhist philosophy. Therein lies the difference with Hinduism , the ability to coexist at the philospohical level with widely disparate philosophies.

Abdul, did you know that ancient Arabs and Persians used the Karez form of irrigation thousands of years ago and that they still do.

Time stands still doesn`t it. You still have to figure a way to loot/rob other civilisations albeit under the thin veneer of propagating desert nomad values.

Uniformity makes morons out of people, let them be different and let them act different .

But that ain`t the Lord`s way , right Abdul.

Abdul whom do you trace your illustriousness to - the Arab bedouin or the Persian freebooter or the Afghan brigand who chose to spend some time satiating their perversions with one of your ancestors.

The Indian pattern which is similar to the Star of David is probably the Sri Chakra, but the chakra is actually made up of nine traingles. It is supposed to embody the Shiva-Shakti nature.
