That was only in Punjab.
Oh I see! They had respect for provincial boundaries. Perhaps these guys don't whoever they are.
Or maybe it's the Khalistanis again who have lost that respect. Is that inconceivable?

Ahmedabad Blasts: Numbed Apathy and The Conspiracy Of Our Resilience
I'm not saying it is inconceivable of Nayyar Zaidi to be involved in such activities. Anyone can. I'm saying that the news is maliciously turned around buy some websites.
A Syed Haider Kar Zaidi of Virginia was indeed arrested for underage sex in March, and so was Nayyar Zaidi for a different reason as per the site which broke the news. Are these two the same person? That's my question.

Is Syed Haider Kar Zaidi the real name of Nayyar zaidi? I'm merely saying that the site which broke the news of his detention is despardes.com which I reproduced. Perhaps it's a case of mistaken identity in your sources.

Nayyar Zaidi behind bars in USA!
A few days back, wife of renowned Washington-based Pakistani journalist, Mr. Nayyar Zaidi, called me up and informed me that her spouse was in detention in Ohio since March 2008 and that she would like to send me some documents for review and publication on DesPardes.com. I therefore gave her my address and my Ferderal Express account number. The next day, I received a package which contained copies of correspondents Mr Zaidi had to the Depertment of Justice, FBI, etc., along with copies of his handwritten notes, observations and latest rejoinder to the Federal court judge.
Mr Zaidi has been living in Virginia, USA, for the last twenty odd years. He is a well renowned columnist of JANG Urdu and a political analyst/commentator for GEO TV, CNN, BBC Urdu and several other world media.
Mr. Zaidi called me up today from the Northeast Correctional Center in Youngstown, Ohio. Since our conversation was basically relevant to his detention and the papers he had arranged to send me through his wife Shaheen, I did not bother that our phone talk was being "recorded and monitored". It was a no-holds-barred-conversation but he took pain not to break rules.
Our conversation was obviously intense. This was the third time in my life that I had received a phone call from a person I knew who was behind bars and who wanted to reach out to someone outside for help. And, of all the people, when a respected Pakistani journalist-cum-columnist with a vast readership in Pakistan and elsewhere happened to be on the other end of the phone, things became different. Naturally, I offered my moral support and promised to break the news to the public on his behalf.
Without discussing with him the merits of the case and his detention, I showed my concern and promised to review the papers he had sent me.
Mr Zaidi said he had gone to Ohio to pursue his journalistic "obstruction of justice" research against those individuals who are being detained there from "all over the world". Unfortunately, he ended up being detained himself in the same facility, he said. He is awaiting trial now in which he is the defendent.
Mr Zaidi has claimed that he has been "targeted" by the FBI/DOJ and the "story" goes back to 1995 when he worked for the Pakistan Television. He was approcahed to work for the U.S. government, he said.
According to Mr Zaidi, he was visited by the Feds (FBI) sometime in 2003, and was asked, he claims, to "become an informant". But he refused.
He says he has a case against FBI/DOJ for "obstruction of justice" and wants only "due process of law" to happen.
I have asked him to writeup a synopsis of the events leading to his arrest. He promised he will send.
I then called the Press Attache of the Pakistan embassy in Washington. Mr Kiani, who happens to be the press attache, told me that he found out about Mr Zaidi's detention today only from the ambasaddor Mr. Hussain Haqaani who found out from Pakistan, he claimed.
According to Kiani, Mr. Haqqani is "concerned" about Mr. Zaidi's welfare.
Both, according to Kiani, were unaware that Mr Zaidi was in detention since the last three months.
Mr Kiani said he had been calling Mr Zaidi's residence but his wife would say that he was either overseas on an assignment or would give him "some kind of answer". Interesting!
Meanwhile, Mr Zaidi remains in detention on "national security matters".

Pak istan journalist arrested for child sex, porn
Free Press Release
Man allegedly traveled hundreds of miles to meet 13-year-old girl who turned out to be FBI agents and police
Pakistan, Islamic Republic of (Press Release) July 28, 2008 -- A well-known Pakistani journalist was allegedly engaged in child sex and arrested in an FBI sting operation March 20, Pakistan community members released the news to coincide with arrival of a high-ranking delegation from Pakistan led by Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani.
Nayyar Zaidi, whose real name is Syed Haider K. Zaidi, a reporter of Geo TV, Jang, The News was arrested on March 20 after the 64-year-old pro-jihad journalist allegedly traveled all the way from his home in Woolbridge, Virginia, to a remote town in Ohio to have sex with a 13-year-old girl.
After the alleged two-month long affair with the 13-year-old the journalist covered a distance of more than 400 miles, that lasts nearly eight hours, for the rendezvous with what turned out to be FBI agents and police.
One of Zaidi's compatriots Syed Adeeb, also from Virginia and editor of a blog named reportpress.com, announced Zaidi's arrest Sunday--the day Gilani's team arrived in the U.S.-- and asked readers to read Zaidi's views about his arrest, detention and prosecution.
The Independent in Massillon, Ohio, reported that authorities arrested a Virginia man accused of traveling to Jackson Township to have sex with a 13-year-old girl.
The newspaper said, "Syed Haider Kar Zaidi, 64, of 12776 Captains Cove, Woodbridge, Va., was taken into custody at 3 p.m. in a parking lot at 4220 Belden Village St. N.W., according to jail records. The arrest culminated a two month investigation by local police and the FBI's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force."
The newspaper reported, "Jail records show Zaidi developed an online relationship with the girl and arranged to meet her for sex in the Belden Village area. The girl Zaidi was communicating with actually was an undercover officer."
Zaidi, who has always been a staunch advocate of jihad, now faces felony charges of attempted unlawful sex with a minor, attempted child endangering, attempted illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance and importuning. Zaidi was the task force's 98th arrest.
The GateHouse News Service said Zaidi was the 98th arrest by FBI task force and his bond was set at $ 200,000. Zaidi was defiant and asked his family not to post the bond.
Many Muslims believe a girl reaches adulthood after the first menses. Quite a few aged men go for very young girls as they think this will make them younger and increase their sexual prowess.
In the wake of the 9/11 attacks, FBI agents questioned Zaidi for allegedly dialing from his home phone numbers linked to the terrorists.
Members of the Pakistani community, who spoke on condition of anonymity, defended their compatriot and said they believed Zaidi was targeted by the FBI just because of his pro-jihad views.
However, the Baluch who are at war with Pakistan in the troubled Baluchistan state commended the FBI for its sting operation. "All this is extremely sick and disgusting," said Dr. Wahid Baloch, president of the Baloch Society of North America. "Pakistanis should not mix child sex crime with politics."
Nayyar Zaidi had also been detained and questioned in 2002 re his phone calls, and cleared. If you have read his opinions, you would know he's as much a liberal as you.

This email is highly amateurish, in contrast with the well-planned sequenced explosions. It naively tries to push several buttons at the same time. It is definitely not an Al Qaida type language, nor any of the Pakistani groups. Islamic militants of anywhere do not say they're doing 'the compulsion of Allah' but simply say they're killing the oppressors or infidels or something like that. This email is certainly not written by a Muslim.
My guess would be the Naxalites or any other of the two dozen separatists, trying to create chaos.

I'm not saying this. Your Times of India is saying this:
Ahmedabad attack: Terror email leads to Mumbai
27 Jul 2008, 0003 hrs IST,TNN
AHMEDABAD: With back-to-back terror attacks in Bangalore and Ahmedabad marking a break from the terrorists' pattern of allowing time to lapse between two attacks, the Centre is preparing for a far more intense challenge than it had so far faced from jehadis. ( Watch )
The Centre decided to convene a meeting of police chiefs of all states, while sounding the alert against more attacks across the country.
If this was part of a routine drill, officials acknowledged that the blasts in BJP-ruled states marked a serious escalation of the terror threat. They pointed out that the attacks on hospitals and trauma centres resembled tactics used by Al-Qaida in Iraq.
Preliminary indications pointed to the involvement of SIMI activists from Maharashtra. The email from Indian Mujahideen which reached the media five minutes before the first of the 16 bombs went off in Ahmedabad, was sent from the Yahoo mail account of alarbi_ gujarat through an internet connection used in the name of Camp Kell White.
The IP address was traced to one Kenith Heywood, C-1503/1504 Gunina CHS Plot, Sector 2&3, 16 A, Sampada, Mumbai. Investigators suspect the sender could be living at the Mumbai address as a tenant.
But the Maharashtra connection was also brought out by references to local incidents in Maharashtra - at Jalna, Yavatmal as well as the alleged humliation of Muslims on Western Railways.
While there is no evidence yet to suggest that the attacks on Bangalore and Ahmedabad in a space of 24 hours were deliberately timed - the email from Indian Mujahideen makes no mention of the Bangalore blasts - the consecutive attacks on the capitals of two BJP-ruled states certainly shows refreshed intent.
Intelligence agencies are not rushing to hazard guesses about the specific jehadi outfit for which the perpetrators of Bangalore and Jaipur blasts could be working. But they are reasonably sure that the logistical support for those who struck in Ahmedabad, just as in the case of Jaipur, came from activists of SIMI.
Apart from the similarities - use of cycles as well as explosives other than RDX - between blasts in the BJP-ruled states, there are other reasons for the agencies to look for the SIMI connection. The email from Indian Mujahideen cites arrests of SIMI activists in Indore - a crippling blow to the fundamentalist organisation.
Significantly, the email also takes great pains to emphasize the alleged local origin of the gang that attacked Ahmedabad on Saturday.
"We the terrorists of India - the Indian Mujahideen - the militia of Islam whose each and every Mujahid belongs to this very soil of India, have returned to execute the compulsion of Allah".
This must be the only known instance of its kind where the so-called Mujahideen have chosen to call themselves terrorists - the very same tag that they contest aggressively as they style themselves as freedom fighters.
Is the excessive stress meant to mask the links with those who are known to control the strings of the anti-Indian groups from across the border?
This will appear to be a legitimate question also because jehadis see themselves as part of the ummah which brooks no national boundaries.
But that is not the only thing about the email that seems to be puzzling the agencies. It concludes with an appeal to Lashkar-e-Toiba — which along with Jaish and lately Huji accounts for almost all of the major terror attacks — not to claim the responsibility for the carnage in Ahmedabad. Why such a targeted appeal when there is no dearth of upstarts amomg the radicals who rush to own up such atrocities?
Intelligence personnel feel that all this could be planned to mask the fact about terror attacks being part of Pakistan's covert operations against India. Terrorists struck in Bangalore and Ahmedabad within days of India blaming Pakistan for the attack on its embassy in Kabul — a charge that virtually spelt the demise of the Joint Anti-Terror Mechanism Manmohan Singh government had set up with Mushharraf regime.
The attack on Ahmedabad coincided with firing on LoC from Pakistani troops — the latest of incidents which show that Islamabad could be chafing at the ceasefire that the two sides have put in place.
One senior intelligence expert, speaking on condition of anonymity, said that Pakistan may be trying to achieve more than one objective by activating the sleeper cells it has helped set up in different parts of the country.
It is keeping the jehadi outfits it has raised and nurtured over the years but who are angry at the compromises it is forced to make under pressure from the US, engaged by diverting their energies towards India. Secondly, the growing arc of the jehadi operations is meant to emphasize the reach and capability of the operatives who can draw on ‘local resources' to carry out their plots.
That both Bangalore and Ahmedabad faced low-intensity attacks, is seen as Pakistan's desire to calibrate covert operations at a time when the global attention has shifted from Iraq to the resurgent threat in Afghanistan from Taliban whose links with ISI are now openly talked about even by the US which had so far been indulgent of Islamabad's problems.
The email also gives enough reason to suspect that a city in yet another BJP-ruled state, Madhya Pradesh, could be the next target of a campaign.
While the attack on BJP-ruled states could be meant to score a propaganda point off a party which prides itself for its 'hard- on- terror' stance, 'Indian Mujahideen' also mention the riots in Indore, along with the arrest of SIMI acitivists in the city, among the litany of provcations.
The email, which is unapologetic about inciting communal tension, seeks to recruit more foot soldiers for terror by citing a number of instances - from Gujarat riots to a number of local incidents in Maharashtra - in what could be seen as another indication of the state becoming one of the prime jehadi targets.

Why would the terrorists explode bombs in a Muslim nation like Pakistan/Turkey? Are they disgruntled with their own people?
Is this a rhetorical question? You know the fallout in Muslim Governments/countries which support WOT.
I have read about bomb blasts targeting the Pakistani army but have they targeted civilians? If yes, whats the motive?
No. None have been targeted at civilians.
