The Wrong Mix
Since the time Moeen Qureshi was sent by global soodkhors as a peon of West to "manage" Pakistan , Pakistan has been forced to practice unbridled capitalism. The second peon, shoukat aziz, sent by the same soodkhors made sure that all the red blood in pakisdtani veins is replaced by the yellow serum of capitalism.
So here we are, twenty years later - food has disappered form markets; people are selling their children for food; there is no electricity in the country; gasoline is being sold at prices as if Pakistan is situated in europe; pak rupee is not even worth the value of a toilet paper as comaperd to dollar; lawlessness has reached a stage where people have started setting criminals ablaze since law enforcement has ceased to exist; and citizens are hunting down public and political officials to guillotine them thru suicide bombings; mothers are throwing their children in front of the trains.
This is all a curse upon us of a system called capitalism, the most exploitative system man has ever invented to make humanity miserable. Oh Lord! deliver us from this evil. Oh Lord have mercy on us.

In my opinion Islam finds itself at odds with both marxist and capitalist systems. I think social democratic model is relatively more compatible. The marxist system or commune system is un-natural and goes against the human nature. The capitalist system has two flwas:
1. It cannot generate wealth and hence it has to pump wealth into its system through colonialism nad military backed monopolization of markets.
2. Economy is entirely based on Interest; without interest it will collapse in the matter of days. Interest is the biggest hurdle in creation of wealth; as a matter of fact it is a sink hole for the existing wealth. In order to overcome this there is no resort but to take the step 1.
With these two steps the whole system becopmes that of winners and losers. Winners thrive at the loss of losers. This creates an incredible amount of aggravation among the loser segment of humanity. In reaction to this misery the idelogies like, marxism, socialism, communism etc. emerged. Unfortunately that was nothing but swinging from one extreme to the other.

Regarding 380, I never understood their logic that taking ones clothes off or presenting porno as art somehow make people less hypocritical. We must have a standard of public decency; apeing west will only make us apes, not less hypocritical.

There is a good news. The Dutch are now getting it right. They are beggining to understand that there will be consequences for their hate speech. Spread the word.
Dutch cartoonist arrested on suspicion of violating hate speech laws
May 16, 2008
AMSTERDAM, Netherlands — A Dutch political cartoonist is facing possible hate crimes charges.
The cartoonist, who works under the pseudonym Gregorius Nekschot, was arrested Tuesday and held overnight before being released.
Officials say a criminal investigation is continuing into whether Nekschot's work targets people because of their race or religion.
Nekschot is known primarily for cartoons mocking Muslims and leftists.
However, spokeswoman for his publisher describes him as a satirist who targets "any strong ideology."
Nekschot publishes primarily on several websites, including his own. But has also been featured on the Web site of Theo van Gogh, the filmmaker who was murdered by a Muslim radical in November 2004.
The cartoonist also works for HP/De Tijd, a major Dutch language weekly news magazine, and he has published two books.
One recent cartoon on his website caricatured a Christian fundamentalist and Muslim fundamentalist as zombies who met at an anti-gay rally and now wished to marry.
"He was arrested with a great show of force, by around 10 policemen," said the spokeswoman for the publishing company Uitgeverij Xtra.
She asked that her name not be used and declined to give Nekschot's real name because both the cartoonist and the publisher have received death threats.
A spokeswoman for the Amsterdam public prosecutor, Sanne van Meteren, said Nekschot remains a suspect in a criminal investigation.
"We suspect him of insulting people on the basis of their race or belief, and possibly also of inciting hate," she said.
Each is a crime punishable by up to a year in prison under Dutch hate laws - or two years for multiple offences.
Van Meteren said prosecutors were investigating a complaint that dates to 2005. They are now focusing on eight or nine published cartoons, she said, but prosecutors are not disclosing which ones.
Nekschot did not answer police questions during his arrest, she said, citing his right to remain silent to avoid self-incrimination.
The spokeswoman for Xtra said police had seized Nekschot's computer, sketches, CDs, DVDs and telephone at the time of his arrest.

about shia sunni differences:
If you are serious about finding about the true nature of differences (if you can call them so, I would recommend reading the book written by Shaheed-e-Islam Moulana Yousaf Ludhianwi, titled "Ikhtilaf-e-Ummat aur Sirat-ul-Mustaqeem". This 576 page book is a comprehensive account of different so called sects in Islam and their mutual differences including shias and sunnis.
It is not possible to do justice with the subject in a short post; but in short the nature of shia sunni differences is:
1. Political difference that arose due to Ali's (RA) caliphate; murder of third caliph Uthman (RA) by rebels and inaction of Ali(RA) to bring them to justice. (I do not think that it was his fault, since he was in a catch 22 situation).
2. The issue of heirarchy - the shi'an-e-Ali (the friends of Ali) always contended that the political leadership of Muslims should always be by someone from the family of Holy prophet (pbuh)' specifically from the family of Ali (RA). The Sunnis contend that since Holy Prophet (pbuh) did not appoint his successor; therefore it must be left upon popular vote to decide.
3. The spiritual leadership of Muslims according to Shias should always be among the same as described in point number 3; which for Sunnis is akin to Roman Catholic Popery. According to Sunnis, since, Holy Prophet (pbuh) did not specifically appoint an Aaron (pbuh) to his Moses (pbuh) self, therefore, there should be no concept of "religious ledaership". Every Muslim has a direct connection to God and does not need a pope like intercession.
4. Interpretational differences.
Propbably about 95% of interpretation s of Qura'n and Ahadith are same or similar between the two., however, they dispute on the authenticity of the chain of a narration of hadith. For shias all those narrators who were against Ali (RA) in the battle against Ali for the Qisas of blood of Uthman (RA) are liars. This really pains Sunnis, because it is against the common sense. When both belive a certain hadith to be true, but creating dispute over the authenticity of narrators and hence hadith itself defies all logic and modicum of decency and truthfulness. The 5% disputed ones are those interpretaions that Shia interpret to reinforce their political and heirarcichal issue as described above.
5. The fifth and most contentious issue of differences of all is that Shias as an indoctrinated religious practice condemn in no uncertain terms all those Companions of Holy Prophet (pbuh) who sided against Ali (RA) in the dispute above. Many of these companions are those whom Holy prophet (pbuh) during his life declared as going to heaven. The Qura'nic edict, in no uncertain terms, declares all companions of Holy prophet (pbuh) as the one who were rightly guided and had blessing of Allah.
Come to think of it, it is impossible for an ordinary Muslim to think falsely about any of prophet's companions, even if he is a shia. The religious orthodoxy in shias whish is akin to Roman Catholic Popery reinforces this hatered thru a cult like indoctrination. Hence we have that Maatams, and rona peetna that is a signature mark of shias. These are nothing but cult practices.
So cheema:
If you look at my post below where I summarised the set of beliefs that constitute a Muslim you will see that there is no difference between Sunnis and Shias. The difference between Shias and Sunnis is basically that of political in nature and that of bad manners.

ah pahleez. These were the same jahils who let those schools establish in the first place. These schools were operating for years and the same jahils were sending their girls to those schools, until an army of kaffirs, zindeeques, and their local mercenaries attacked them. Propaganda is cheap and it is for your foreign masters to scare the shit out of their pants and tell them what kind of monsters they are up against. These people are my people; I have lived among them; I know them more than any propagandist.

Your question in # 72 was "If someone comes to me and says they are muslims, that is sufficient for me to accept them as such."
There are two ways to look at it. Your way and the objective way. Remember right after 9/11 several sikhs in US were killed by mobs because they looked like talibans. This was because people looked at them for their apperances.
The objective criteria that decides whther a person is Muslim is not is straightfrowrd. A person is considered a Muslim only when he belives in every beleif listed in Qura'n. Even the violation of one single belief casts a Muslim outside of the fold of Islam. A categorical list of these beliefs is given below:
GOD
1. A Muslim believes in One God, Supreme and Eternal, Infinite and Mighty, Merciful and Compassionate, Creator and Provider.
2. God has no father nor mother, no sons nor daughters. He has not fathered anyone nor was He fathered. None equal to Him. He is God of all mankind, not of a special tribe or race.
3. God is High and Supreme but He is very near to the pious thoughtful believers; He answers their prayers and helps them. He loves the people who love Him and forgives their sins. He gives them peace, happiness, knowledge and success.
4. God is the Loving and the Provider, the Generous and the Benevolent, the Rich and the Independent, the Forgiving and the Clement, the Patient and the Appreciative, the Unique and the Protector, the Judge and the Peace. God's attributes are mentioned in the Quran.
5. God creates in man the mind to understand, the soul and conscience to be good and righteous, the feelings and sentiments to be kind and humane. If we try to count His favours upon us, we cannot, because they are countless.
6. In return for all the great favours and mercy, God does not need anything from us, because he is Needless and Independent.
7. God asks us to know Him, to love Him and to enforce His Law for our own benefit and our own good.
GODS MESSENGERS
1. A Muslim believes in all the Messengers and Prophets of God without any discrimination.
2. All messengers were mortals, human beings, endowed with Divine revelations and appointed by God to teach mankind. The Holy Quran mentions the names of 25 messengers and prophets and states that there are others. These include Noah, Abrahim, Ishmael, Isaac, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad. Their message is the same and it is Islam and it came from One and the Same Source; God, and it is to submit to His will and to obey his law, ie, to become a Muslim.
3. Mohammad (pbuh) is the last in the chain of all prophets
SCRIPTURES
1. A Muslim believes in all scriptures and revelations of God, as they were complete and in their original versions.
2. Revelations were given to guide the people to the right path of God. The Quran refers to the books revealed to Abrahim, Moses, David, Jesus and Muhammad.
3. Today, the books before the Quran do not exist in their original form. They are lost or corrupted or concealed. Weakness in the early period of Judaism and Christianity are partly responsible.
4. Today the Quran is the only authentic and complete book of God. (No scholar has questioned the fact that the Quran today is the same as it was more than 1400 years ago. Muslims till today memorize the Quran word by word as a whole or in part.).
5. God who revealed the Quran is protecting it from being lost, corrupted, or concealed.
ANGELS
1. A Muslim believes in the angels of God.
2. They are purely spiritual and splendid beings created by God. They require no food or drink or sleep. They have no physical desires nor material needs.
3. Angels spend their time in the service of God. Each charged with a certain duty. Angels cannot be seen by the naked eyes. Knowledge and truth are not entirely confined to sensory knowledge or sensory perception alone.
DAY OF JUDGEMENT
1. A Muslim believes in the day of Judgement.
2. This world as we know it will come to an end and the dead will rise to stand for their final and fair trial. Everything we do, say, make, intend and think are accounted for and kept in accurate records. They are brought up on the day of Judgement.
3. People with good records will be generously rewarded and warmly welcomed to God's Heaven. People with bad records will be fairly punished and cast into Hell.
4. The real nature of Heaven and Hell are known to God only, but they are described by God in man's familiar terms in the Quran.
5. If some good deeds are seen not to get full appreciation and credit in this life, they will receive full compensation and be widely acknowledged on the Day of Judgement.
6. If some people who commit sins, neglect God and indulge in immoral activities seem superficially successful and prosperous in this life, absolute justice will be done to them on the Day of Judgement.
7. The time of the Day of Judgement is only known to God and God alone.
ABSOLUTE & TIMELESS GOD
1. A Muslim believes in "Qadaa" and "Qadar".
2. "Qadaa" and "Qadar" means the Timeless Knowledge of God and His power to plan and execute His plans. God is not indifferent to this world nor is He neutral to it.
3. God is Wise, Just and Loving and whatever He does must have a good motive, although we may fail sometimes to understand it fully.
4. We should have strong faith in God and accept whatever He does because our knowledge is limited and our thinking is based on individual consideration, whereas His knowledge is limitless and He plans on a universal basis.
5. Man should think, plan, and make sound choices, but if things do not happen the way he wants, he should not lose faith and surrender himself to mental strains or shattering worries.
PURPOSE OF LIFE
1. A Muslim believes that the purpose of life is to worship God.
2. Worshipping God does not mean we spend our entire lives in constant seclusion and absolute meditation. To worship God is to live life according to His commands, not to run away from it.
3. To worship God is to know Him, to love Him, to obey His commands, to enforce His laws in every aspect of life, to serve His cause by doing right and shunning evil and to be just to Him, to ourselves and to our fellow human beings.
HIERARCHY OF MAN
1. A Muslim believes that man enjoys an especially high ranking status in the hierarchy of all known creatures.
2. Man occupies this distinguished position because he alone is gifted with rational faculties and spiritual aspirations as well as powers of action.
3. Man is not a condemned race from birth to death, but a dignified being potentially capable of good and noble achievements.
EVERY HUMAN BEING IS BORN MUSLIM
1. A Muslim believes that every person is born "Muslim".
2. Every person is endowed by God with spiritual potential and intellectual inclination that can make him a good Muslim.
3. Every person's birth takes place according to the will of God in realization of His plans and in submission to His commands.
4. A Muslim believes that every person is born free from sin.
5. When the person reaches the age of maturity and if he is sane, he becomes accountable for all his deeds and intentions. Man is free from sin until he commits sin.
6. There is no inherited sin, no original sin. Adam committed the first sin, he prayed to God for pardon, and God granted Adam pardon.
7. A Muslim believes that man must work out his salvation through the guidance of God.
8. No one can act on behalf of another or intercede between him and God.
9. In order, to obtain salvation a person must combine faith and action, belief and practice. Faith without doing good deeds is as insufficient as doing good deeds without faith.
10. A Muslim believes that God does not hold any person responsible until he has shown him the Right Way.
11. If people do not know and have no way of knowing about Islam, they will not be responsible for failing to be Muslim. Every Muslim must preach Islam words and in action.
12. A Muslim believes that faith is not complete when it is followed blindly or accepted unquestioningly.
13. Man must build his faith on well-grounded convictions beyond any reasonable doubt and above uncertainty.
14. Islam insured freedom to believe and forbids compulsion in religion. (one of the oldest synagogues and one of the oldest churches in the world are in Muslim countries).
15. A Muslim believes that the Quran is the word of God revealed to prophet Muhammad through the Angel Gabriel.
16. The Quran was revealed from God on various occasions to answer questions, solve problems, settle disputes and to be man's best guide to the truth.
17. The Quran was revealed in Arabic and it is still in its original and complete Arabic version until today. It is memorized by millions.
18. A Muslim believes in a clear distinction between the Quran and the Traditions of the Prophet Muhammad.
19. Whereas the Quran is the word of God, the Traditions of Prophet Muhammad (his teachings, sayings, and actions) are the practical interpretations of the Quran.
20. Both the Quran and the Traditions of the Prophet Muhammad are the primary sources of knowledge in Islam.

I think you should address people by names while asking questions. Most of the people here have day jobs.

I asked the questions first so should have been given the answers first, but this is your usual way of diversion. anyhoo.
Anyway it needs no proof to say that napak fouj who have invaded their own country in that region has been deployed there for 5 years now. They gotta live somewhere. In case of any disaster napak fouj always stations itself in local schools and colleges. I have no doubt in my mind that these american paid mercenaries are stationed in schools in Swat. So whenever they are counter attacked, school gets destroyed naturally. Unfortunately, napak fouj has complete control over information and propaganda machinery. Those journaists who tried to report unbiased from those areas were kidnapped by napak fouj, tortured and murdered. What do you expect.

since attacking schools defines one being a terrorist or otherwise, would American attacks on several schools in northern areas of Pakistan constitute as terrorist attacks too? For example, in Damma Dola attack about 80 school children aged between 6-16 years were masacred. What about that? Your patron saint and US appointed kuss madar dictator has attacked a school in Islamabad last year and massacred close to 1600 school girls in cold blood, would that include as terrorist attacks too? He has also tried to close down several schools as well. Is he an American supported and sponsored terrorist too?

Exactly. It is all just common sense. Anyone who can put two and two together gets it. Even Hindus get it better then some of the pretenders among us. It is just the inferiority complex of the class and mindset left among us by the colonial rule.

I do not think that you are confused. You know very well what I am talking about. There is a mindset left over among us by british colonialism that pops us everytime screaming "we can't do this" or like HP said "we don't amount to nothing". Think of a nation as an individual. Now tell me what kind of individual says such things "I can't do this" or "I amount to nothing"; only that individual that is severly suffering from inferiority complex. This inferiority complex was deliberately and forcefully injected into 600 million people of this land so that only 16,000 soldiers from a land thousans of miles away could control them.
For God's sake recognize the fact that we are like that proverbial Shaheen (Eagles) of Iqbal that have been raised among vultures. Laying low and flying low is not in our nature. Glory and fortune does not happen by conformance and lying low; it needs a dream and will to sacrifice for it.

The basic premis of your question is wrong. You assume Pakistan to be a nation state, which it is not. The idea of a nation state is a Western concept which base their nation state on the basis of their language, ethnicity, and geography. Muslims base their state on the basis of ideology where colour, geography, ethnicity, has no meaning. Either human beings are slave of God or they don't. That determines the citizenship. Sovereignity belongs to God and we are only his viceregents with a duty to fulfil. This is our land and we spilled our blood for it.
Our vision is very clear. In near future there is not going to be a border anywhere where Muslims are living. All Muslims will be citizens of every Muslim land, free to move, free to do business, and free to live from Indonesia to West coast of Africa.
This is not a dream, this is fate. This is the destination. For those naysayers look at Europe, just 60 years ago they almost exterminated each other. The greatest tragedy of human existence occured in their lands not once but twice. It took them just 60 years to become one unit.
Pakistan is the most important country in the Islamic world. It is on the verge of a revolution and it is ready to braek its shackles and chains. As Pakistan will win its freedom and there is no question in anyones mind anymore the domino effect is destined to happen all across Muslim lands. Pakistan is destined to spearhead thsi revolution. That is the reason the satans forces of darkness and ignorance have concentrated all their efforts in thsi place. They are spending half a billion dollars almost everyday to control what they cannot.
Please explain to me why you are on losers side. The idea of a european style nation state is a passe even in Europe itself. This experiment has utterly failed in Muslim lands. The Natural selection is in the process of weeding out inefficient, corrupt, and those who refuse to change.

Why create problems where there is none. The constitution of Pakistan defines Quadianis as a non-Muslim minority and extends constitutional guarantees to them as equal citizens of Pakistan. Pakistan is an Islamic Republic and not a secular country. Quadainiyat is a problem exclusively unique to pakistan; there is no parallel anywhere in the world or in history, therefore, some extraordainary measures have been stipulated in Constitution to safeguard the interests of majority as well as minority. As paradoxical it may look but that was the only possible pragmatic solution.
Since Pakistan is an Islamic republic and Constitution places the Qura'n and sunnat as the supreme law. Then according to this law, Quadianis, for what the preach would be given three choices - either accept the supremacy of Islam and become protected minority or get out of this land on their your own accord or let sword decide our fate. That was the choice our Holy Prophet (pbuh)gave to all idolators, atheists , kaffirs and Mushriqs as per Quranic guidelines, after he took over Mecca. Quadianis can never be called Muslims or given the same status as Muslims. Can a blind person and a person that can see be equal? Can an illiterate and lietarte be equal? can a deaf be equal to that of that who can hear? Never, therefore we have to work out a living arrangement among us; in societies that arrangement is called constitution.
