Thanks for your response. May be one day the grass mats will come back to Kerala as a fashion statement. In the good old days, they used to call it ``Pizza Effect`` in development economics. It is said that pizza was the food of the poor in Italy where they collected left-overs and baked them into a pizza. The Americans made it into a culinary delight and now Pizza is back in Italy as a delicacy. I do not know the veracity of this, but the return of Yoga and vegetarianism to India should be accounted as Pizza effect.
