also, the music, the cigarette, and the FX, a direct descendant of Daru`s car, all signify an elitist middle-class mentality.

The class divide has been illustrated. The smart middle-classers continue to be marginalized in social circles by those heralding from elitist backgrounds. Elitist themselves, the middle-classers face great trouble in being accepted by the upper-strata. A bachi smoking with aplomb, donning eastern clothes with a western nonchalance, being a reckless driver, inside a car which is a status symbol; symptomatic of the quintessential search of the middle-class`er to permeate into the elite circles. the purposeless pursuit is complete when the two go their ways; the protagonist not stooping to the levels of the semi-educated middle class and lower class youth, who are typified by their gelled hair, sleeveless skin-fitted shirts, a bike or a car with a cheesy bumper sticker, and a tendency of letting fly loose chits with their numbers and hotmailn addresses to clifton`ish chicks, who`s supposed western leanings make them easier to bait.also, the music, the cigarette, and the FX, a direct descendant of Daru`s car, all signify an elitist middle-class mentality.

NADRA needs establihed criterions and a standardized policy in every regard, and stick by it. i had to apply for the ID card twice, the second time was four months after my first attempt, inspite of numerous reminders to NADRA. and its sleep-inducing, for sure.

yes, after a few days of mourning and rabble rousing, normality will return, and we will find another blast to keep our attention.
And the chinese have so far been strong in the face of such incidents. but if things go on, the extremist elements will succeed in driving them away, along with other forieng investors.

And yes, dear author, such incidents have taken place all along. People have been gunned down inside mosques before. A few years ago, eleven people were murdered at the numaish imam-bargaah; one was a friend`s dad. you react as if you`re being fed the mutilated carcass of the victims. people have always been killed in the name of religion; if they are being killed inside a mosque, why is it such a big deal? islam and it`s tolerant beliefs have been blast frozen in the quran that rests on mantlepieces. the victims need to be compensated. and not only the victims of the blast, but also those who suffered in the ensuing melee`. the acts of vandalism which resulted in the destruction of two petrol pumps, quite a few buses and trucks; and in the resulting strike the next day, the families that will suffer economically.

Urmila and Resham, with their usual theatrics, wouldn`t rate too high on my credibility scale. This would be a marketing gimmick gone bad, at best, though the fact that sex sells, no matter what the subject matter be, will probably enable them to enthrall the sexually depraved masses. PTV needs such gimmicks, to bolster it`s reputation, especially in the face of the mushroom growth of local channels, but they ought to limit it to entertainment purposes only. atleast urmila`s gyrating hips will give the grouching oldies something to talk about.

now that the Prophet`s birthday is round the corner, all areas have been illuminated, through the kunda-system, energy consumed wastefully and ostentatiously throughout every single night starting from a few days back, while loadshedding continues in most parts of the city.
teshah, if i`m not reading too much in your post, are you implying that declaring Qadianis as a minority rid islam of a nuisance?

Oh, Ansari, haven`t you realized that it`s routine in our part of the world. Whether it be a beauracrats motorcade, or a procession of like-minded, religiously-charged, high-on-adrenaline enthusiasts; all ideas of civic duties are temporarily suspended. now that the Prophet`s birthday is round the corner, all areas have been illuminated, through the kunda-system, energy consumed wastefully and ostentatiously throughout every single night starting from a few days back, while loadshedding continues in most parts of the city.

A Guide to the Street Language of Karachi
In any case, let me share whatever insights that I can offer:
Ghanta : A polite Fuck Off. Also used as a crude indication of your pee pee.
Gashtor/Gashti : According to the Lugat, an unmarried woman of questionable character, but applicable to all females who don`t conform to the standards set by Mailas.
Ghailchodya: A funny memoni diss, meaning Fucked up in the head. (I guess)
Seal Pack : Virgin
Patakha : Sexually attractive.
Session lagana: Bunch of guys, smoking weed or drinking alcohol, and cracking up on crude jokes.
Scoring : Going to a dealer for buying weed/pot/hash.
Bhainjochud: Sister fucker in a sindhi accent.
Yan to dey: Another sindhi favorite, meaning something like ``i want your arse.``
PhunnoKhan: Phunno refers to dick, khan is the aggressive pathan. Attributed to one who is all talk and no action.
Mamou : The MunnaBhaiMBBS Syndrome. At the match even, there was a KFC banner which said ``Mammoo boley tu``. Call anyone and everyone.
Oh, actually, I`ll stop. I can go on with this forever and ever. How we had gali-galoch competitions from grade 5 to grade 7. How creativity was manifested in an unexpected manner.
Anyone who wants to go down nostalgia lane, is welcome. Heh.
And some shrewed observations were shared by the interactors. #29, I concur.
Oh, and although I had read that multi-purposeness of fuck mail before, I still enjoyed it.
Cheers.

Very interesting. But being the pappoo (interchangeable with Chikna; it can also be a simpleton) grammarian that you`re, you`ve failed to do justice to this vast subject. These are ones that are generally used in the presence of the gentler sex.In any case, let me share whatever insights that I can offer:
