forget CIA, its time for DIA (desi in america)!!
ppl, ppl., ppplll, there is more to the life of a DIA then ``GOORIAN``. there are pizza`a to be delivered and Big Mac`s to be made. i think the author is too obbseed with the sex part of life. in reality there are bills to be paid and tuitions to be made. Khana to be Pakana and GPA to be worried. Dear M a look beyod Goorian, there are Kallian and Chaptian and Spanish too(just kidding)

it`s about time somebody appreciate the work done by this great Muslim leader. IMO he was way ahead of his time. i only wish that his idea of advancement through modern education was more seriously taken by muslim leaders of that time. Imagine what kind of atmosphere we be living in today if his educational reforms were taken seriously. Now I don`t know much about india but most of pakistani problem are due to illetrate masses.

Harpreet ,
i been visting chowk for a long time but never interacted on it befor. your article was so wonderfully written that i have to praise you...SHAWAA JAWANA SHAWAA...you brought back so many memmories of my GT Road experiences... though sameerjb did a fine job on our side of GTR.. there are only two things that i would like to add to sammerjb comments. the most scenic part of GTR , that i can think of, is, the view from the ATTOCK PULL...the merging of water from river Kabul and Indus..if u ever get a chance u should see that. very blue and green, crystal clear water of indus mix with dusty water from river kabul right underneath the attack bridge, which is also the border between punjab and sarhad...the other thing is food. the best food in the whole wide world....from small dhabaa`s to big restaurants is on GTR baby. i am sure sameer must have heard about the gujranwala ``batareey`` and ``chrghey``...there is a small restaurant on GTR between Kharian and Lala Moosa called ``Sufi the hotel``........man that daal is so delicious especially when he use desi ghee for tarka.....that place is the favorite bus stop on GTR.......
