A Pakistani-American in India
Ditto !! Could not have agreed more. But slowly and surely Indian Muslims are realizing their potential in India and abroad and they are making a niche for themselves. For all of my Muslim friends, Pakistan's birth, it's survival and it's demise is irrelevent to them..

What a pathetic state of affairs, internally and externally in the land of faithfuls. Internally all this confusion and externally getting whipped by Foreign bosses. BTW you paid for outdated F16 and got soyabeans, we sold Mangoes and got Nuclear Technology. What a Frontline ally !!!!

I watched Geo just now. Dangerous, dangerous situation in Las Masjid. Hope everything works out well for Pakistan. Paki secular and Chowkie liberals like Matolives should be ashamed of supporting Military force. There are innocent childrens inside. None of well to do Chowkie`s daughter is there holed up. Sickening people. There are other ways to handle Mullahs. This will only inflame feeling of anger among common Pakistanis.

Zeenajee,
Quite franly we Indians dont give two hoots about Pakistan`s talibanization. A Pakistan, Progressive or Talibanized. We couldn`t care less one way or the other. I was just trying to bring contradictions to your views to one of your compatriots.
PS: We will leave you alone, just dont send those Burqa clad women to our Kashmir .....

Zeenajee,
[I was in Islamabad, Lahore, and in some very remote conservative areas I was wearing Jeans, pants and track suits....Not even a single person criticized...rather, majority of those villagers commented me with excellent comments about the way I was dressed]
Really????

With or Without Musharraf – A Mohajir’s Perspective
Great article. Couldn`t have agreed more. A three piece suiter, cigar smoking millionaire should not decide the fate of millions. Give him a credit though, he used other`s ``evil religion`` to hypnotize millions.

``Pakistan`s Permanent Revolution?`` Hmmm..Revolutions are created in a dynamic civil society ... Sanity check is requested if somebody thinks 1947 was a revolution. A big bad hindu`s fear was the reason. The big bad baniya is not in the picture now. In present circumstances absolutely nothing is going to happen, Mushy`s power comes from GHQ and Uncle Sam. He couldn`t care less abt black coats/veils. Status quo will return in few weeks ..Mark my prophetic words...

Why an Indian author is worried about whether Pakistanis deserve democracy or not? If they do they will strive for it ....it`s none of our business.....
