mullah,
I assume that all four women are your wives with their full and express consent? And that they all intend to happily remain as such? And not walk away with a bountiful of wealth if they become unhappy with the way you treat them?

There is a phrase in Hindi, that goes 'Koop mandook'. But you dont seem to know about the mens rights movement in Pakistan itself, and think it is an 'India specific phenomenon'! So how do you claim to know how villagers in India behave?

Why is this important part being ignored by the Congressi types?

I wonder why no one seems to know the price of this deal - which is in the range of $150 billion over the next 15 years! At thee prices, electricity would cost THREE TIMES as much as the alternatives.

When the BJP handed power, its slogan was 'India shining'. When the Congress goes to the election, what will it say? It will pray that the issue is about Amarnath yatra, or Ram Setu or nuke deal! Did MMS bribe Advani also to divert from the main issues of the people? Anything could be possible!
The bottom line, is that Sonia Gandhis Prime Minister, has lost the faith of his people, never mind his cutting deals with 'allies' who can now make more and even more money for another year at the least.
The country is governed now, by corrupt ministers, who have a few people like MMS, as their mask, for carrying on their nefarious activities.
The economic mismanagement of the government ( 100000 crores for 1. loan defaulters - so that they dont have to pay back, and 2. the feminists - so that they dont need one ) has resulted in an inflation rate which is threatening to go beyond control already.
The arrogance of the Congress is sky-high, especially in their anti-male laws, which are their USP, is atrocious. The male victims of these laws will no doubt be praying for the ruination of such an insensitive political party.
The opposition is incompetant and banks too much on its own communalism and casteism vote-banks, which is demoralising their own ranks. The nation should rather reform its political process to see more responsibilty and accountabilty from the elected persons. But it should also allow only elected people to represent their voices.

The Congress is busy finding issues to divert attention from the economic crisis and inflation, that is looming large over the country. Its largesse to the feminist groups and the loan defaulters is going to haunt the Indian economy. When the BJP handed power, its slogan was 'India shining'. At least, this article is an involuntary acknowledgement of the existence of a gender biased viewpoint in society.
For the uninitiated, laws in India have been twisted to favour the females - 'who can do no wrong'. There are some who do not know of this, some who would not believe this, and some who refuse to acknowledge this.
If a boy refuses to marry a girl he has had sex with, he can be tried for rape! Can you believe that is a recent LAW in India? Males are supposed to be liars, and perverts, while women simply speak the truth! All this, while stats prove that 41% of rape claims are untrue!
A married man can be sent to jail with his family, sheerly on 'complaints' by the wife, without an iota of evidence! Do you know that? For those who do not know, have a look at www.498a.org.
Domestic Violence laws are written specifically for women alone! And the Womens Ministry in India, has a budget of 33000 crores! Put in perspective, that is equal to the budget for education in India today!
While male 'rights' are absolutely unheard off!
No one cares for the high suicide rates among males - some 4 times more. Or for the fact that they have far less life expectancy in the west. Not even - and especially not even - men themselves! Men carry on with gender casteism with almost a sense of pride! Poo - poohing at any mention of the need to fight for their own rights!
Anti dowry laws are made specifically targetting males - though dowry is the females problem - with roots in dense and opaque, female inheritance laws. Mukesh and Anil Ambani have not split their family wealth with their own sister. But why are the feminists not active here?
At divorce, males are supposed to pay for their ex-wives, in a medieval, obnoxious, practice called alimony - that is also both cause and effect of divorce, and has origins in times when marriages were 'irrevocable'! All this, while stats show that females initiate divorce 70% of the time!
And that 'social' feminists encourage divorce among females. Leading feminists who make laws that encourage females to use such laws to 'teach' the male a lesson, are actually encouraging her to divorce. There is no punishment for such activities, and yet, these iconic feminists are only 'failed' women. Invariably, the leading feminists in India, have problems in their own families.
Why is there such a lack of awareness of male rights?
For eg., the railways allows a 70% discount on tickets for elderly grandma, while her husband get 20% less! In any Indian family, the old man would have worked his life, and sacrificed his livelihood, for this same woman - and yet at old age, he is still supposed to be the loser! Is this forced 'male chivalry'? Does 'chivalry' exist in the female dictionary?
Why are there no gender equality laws in India (or in Europe), that check female domination of jobs? Even in India today (and in Europe), 70% of well paying BPO jobs and medical seats, are taken by women! And why are males not even asking for reservations in jobs like air-hostesses or nursing? Are they simply unaware, or too afraid to ask?
Why are boys doing badly in schools compared to girls? Is it because feminist teachers actively encourage female students with a vengeance? It is because there are no male rights groups in India, as opposed to the thousands of well-sponsored feminist grouping. Recently, two male servants of the Aarushis were jailed, while the father went scot free because of feminist pressure. But where was the male groups here?
Males need to awaken to their rights. If they do not, their sons will face the music one day. For those who agree, all I say is, do not sit quietly and let an injustice pass by. ESPECIALLY if it has the potential to be done to another person.

Chowk is not the first, or only, website, that does not allow opinions against feminism to be expressed. The media in general, is extremely pro-feminism biased. But it is not only the media, even the general public is unaware of the existence of male rights. 'Male Rights' is a bad word today. At least, this article is an involuntary acknowledgement of the existence of a gender biased viewpoint in society.

Now lets see : why do feminist articles like these have to include some male bashing as well? Inspite of all the complaining, the matter of fact is that women are getting better education and job opportunities today (BPO. for eg.). 80% of new EU jobs since 2000, have gone to females! Plus, their chances of climbing the corporate ladder are much higher, given the 'free style' of living that is becoming very common these days. And yet, females have a vested interest in crying wolf!
Hitched Hikers Guide
Divorce and remarriage should be recognised by the judiciary of todays world, as a consequence of a break-up in a relationship; it should not hold the husband alone responsible. Divorce rates are 40% in Mumbai today - encouraged by feminists no doubt - due to the empowerment of women and increased awareness of maintenance laws. Females possess a natural talent - to be believed, even when they lie, seeking to hurt their ex-husbands. This, coupled with deliberately biased laws make a deadly cocktail.

Females are growing up through generations of pampering, and expecting to be pampered as a ‘higher caste’ even in this day of empowerment, infidelity, and high divorce rates. Criminals are present in every society. Irrespective of age, gender, caste, sex or religion. It is useless debating which one has more.
Having said that, it should be recognised that marriages are failing too. Most people, irrespective of sex, are unable to live together in marriage. Again, this is irrespective of nation or religion.
There used to be a time when females got the better of the work - doing household chores, while the male sweated it out on the fields. In todays more posh world, the female again wants to do the easier of the work - in BPO jobs, for eg., while the male has to earn for her even AFTER divorce!
Pakistani women may be biased against, but this is not the case in India, where anti-male laws are passed with gay abandon.
It will be easier to understand the problem if this 'confusion' is cleared.

My reply relates to the unfair disadvantage MALES face at divorce, which many are unaware off.
Males rights is a bad word at the moment, and only remotely related to marriage (through gender bised laws), but the sooner they understand the concept, the better it is for them.
