They asked me to be interactive and talk a lot with a girl. At their place, they had also invited girl's mother (also wearing a niqab) and her grandmother whereas I was there with my auntie.
I asked her a few questions but since it was her first time I believe, she felt shy and answered in monosyllables. Then I cracked a joke and everybody laughed. I thought in my head "Hansi to phansi" (Yes! This is how we guys think!)
Anyways, we werent making any progress despite the girl's grandmother egging her on. So seeing the religious bent, I asked the girl "Dua-e-Qunoot suna dain". The grandmother suddenly came to her defence and said in flawless English "My grand daughter prays five times a day. I'd rather you recite the dua and she checks it". I replied "Mein to teen dafa Qul Huallaho Ahad (surat Ikhlas) parhta hoon".
Needless to mention it didn't work out. :)

When I had completed my studies in UK, a family friend decided to introduce me to a prospect in London. Since I was inclined religiously as well as academically, they said that the girl has done Masters in Mathematical Sciences and wears a Niqab. They asked me to be interactive and talk a lot with a girl. At their place, they had also invited girl's mother (also wearing a niqab) and her grandmother whereas I was there with my auntie.

I think NFP should be counted amongst such journalists as Ahmed Quraishi (who?) the one of 'plan to topple Pakistan military' article fame. I mean NFP is leaving behind AG Abdul Qayoom in bending over backwards to find a needle in haystack to praise Musharraf and which is not even a needle but some dried piece of dog shit.

I have seen a lot of ass kissing in the last few months, but this article takes the cake. If Mushy bending over backwards to please his american masters was not a sore sight, here the author not only bends over backwards but also brings his head up again from under his legs to plant a kiss on mushis ass. He should be applauded for this feat.

Deputy Nazir Ahmed wrote these books where there were two sisters Akbari (elder) and Asghari (younger). Akbari was not good at housekeeping (as they say in Urdu: umoor-e-khana dari mein mahir nahin thi) whereas Asghari was an expert housekeeper managing her husband's house efficiently, taking the dishonest maid to task, arranging sevings for uninvited guests in a few seconds. The school textbook introduced us to this brand of Urdu literature.

Najam Sethi was picked up as Army wanted him picked up because he made some anti-Pakistan (I dont know how else to describe then) remarks in India. It was only that it was NS's regime.

This is billed as satire. It was a rant and should have been stated as such. No wonder the author respects Cowasjee who is well known for ranting. And finally inserting the fav line of pro Mush camp in a different way "We dont have a choice" but in a different way. Mush is hand in glove with Benazir. When you pardon criminals and robbers, you can't wash your hands off that I didn't do it. Mush is as much a criminal and robber as the coterie he keeps.

Next time, why don't you write a letter as a Bank Manager in Nigeria where a certain M. Dosa has died leaving you with 1,220,000 dollars and you need my services to release the account for which I will get 30%.

I talk to lot of my friends who are doing well professionally. To them, the issues of justice, lawlessness, education, flour prices etc. dont matter as long thy get their paycheck on time.
We have stopped thinking about issues and find it convenient to leave to the self imposed generals to take decisions because then we dont have to share responsibility for his actions "We didnt bring hi. He imposed himself on us".

Good on ya Bangladesh!
Bangladeshi government needs to be applauded for accepting the traitors (which is a soft word)_ those who sided with Pakistan Army in pillaging, murdering, killing, and raping of the bangladeshi nation. It take a big heart to forgive and accept them.
Unlike the Mohajirs of Pakistan who have yet to become a part of this country and still call themselves Hindustani. I think anyone calling himself hindustani ( i am myself part of the community) should be sent to India to live in camps along the lines of stranded Pakistanis.
