It seems like living in the US for three years did not transform you at all. Its true that America tends to get lonely if you do not have the right company, but you cannot have good of both the worlds (Pakistan and the US). The problem comes in when we want to create their own little pakistan in America and shum ourselves from the rest of the cultures.

I could never get the idea behind ``qurbani``. Nobody is really sacrificing anything. Its just a big show off for your neighbours and relatives. The only good it does is leave permanent marks on children`s minds to haunt them later on in life. Posted by

Dina,I could not agree more with you. It seems like you understand pakistani men more than we (pakistani women) do. I can only sympathize with you. All I can say is that you can feel good about not having to spend your life with a person having double standards.
