Science, Psychology and Spirituality

Thanks. You have provided useful technical backup to something that many of us otherwise guestimated.

i.e. Spirituality is a human need & a human phenomenon - and is not linked to any specific faith or religion.

Another aspect explained by you `Cosmic Conciouness` is also intriguing. I used to be a non-beliver of the `Saeen Babas`. But a few events have convinced me that there is certainly something to it. Some peaple do have this ability to see things out of time and space.

Control of ginns and communicating with formless beings is also a reality.

However, this EEG does not seem to be a very accurate instrument. All pilots joining the Airlines are required to go through this EEG.

When I appeared in my EEG, I thought that I must think of pleasant things in that dark sound proof room while connected with all those leads to my head. I flunked.

Then I was told the trick to pass the test. Keep your mind absolutely blank. Next time I passed.

Anyway, is there way to titlate that right lobe before one gets down to a written assigment!

Jasmines in Colorado (part 2 of 3)

Raja

I am reminded of a incident about what that old Jewish man from Manhattan said.

Many years back, I wrote an article `The Femae Chemistry`.

Simply put, it was about the typical South Asian mentality of `How to rope a woman`. It was quite a rubbish though it gort published in `femina` in India and `Men`s Fashion` in Pakistan.

It talked about the `gradual approach remaining a step behind the woman`s emotions`. First get familiar, then planned chance encounters, then cards, then coffee/tea - finally dinner. Necklace - lingerie. It was quite a bullshit.

So I told this to this 70 year`s old weatherbeaten New Yorker.

He gave a big laugh & said. ``Just take her to dinner and when you are driving back - suggest `Lets Fucxk``.

Good. Better than the first one - with more twists.

Something is surely there - you could not be making up all these details.

Ballukhan is being a bit too technical contrary to the spirit of the things. Obviously, you are adding a bit of `mirch-masala` for the audience.

Just do not get on her nerves - and avoid letting her get on your nerve.

you are good on long tales - and were wasting time in defending Pakistan.

Dehliwala # 7

(Of all the places in India, Kerala is probably the most tolerant and friendly places to Muslims)

The Pakistani Embassy in Dehli has requested the West Bengal (I think) state to provide them technical assisstance with regard to the Madressa curriculum and syllabus. In order to carry out reforms in Pakistani Madressas which have a tunnel vision & preach hatred towards other faiths.

It is believed that students from different faiths attend these madressas & and there has never been any communal tension in these states.

As others have suggested, make a visit to Kerala with your parents. Enjoy a link up with your past with your parents.

As I understand, very few South Indians migrated.

You seem to be in a perpetual spring time. that is great.

And also in a bit of problem since you have lost some control over your life.

From what I can see - you are far too `eagre` to please her. That does not always work.

Treat her as a `person` rather than a Goddess; and with a little detachment.

You are handsome (I assume), educated and a very good person in your own right. The fact that you are not a nasty person has already dawned on her the way she let you progress further.

So relax. Take it easy. and as all you senses are at peak performances these days, keep writing. You will notice & observe details that could do without this trance or spell.

And finally when all this `love` thing evaporates, do not be surprised if you find in her a touch of her hereditory `nawabi` side.

the married folks here will vouch for it.

thanks for the article

Escalation of Hostilities in Middle East
Posted by nazarhayatkhan Jul 21, 2006 12:30 am

Hamas & Hizbullah are religious gangs accountable to no one.

Muslims need to thank Israel for doing this dirty work for them.

Because mainstream Muslims (and their leaders) lack courage & want to always sound politically correct.

Thanks Israel - for nipping these evils in bud.

A Desi Dilemma

How true & picture perfect!

New information `Persian speaking Kabuli` in Peshawar. Punjabi `Dal Khores`.

It is common practice that Pathan women, when they cross the Attock bridge at Indus, they throw away their chadars.

I don`t think many people here understand GHILMAN. If I am not wrong, GHILMAN are the boys available in the heaven along with Hoors? Did you mean this?

enjoyed it.

Islam and the Age of Globalization

(at the constant exclusion of Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, and Jains by these Muslim and their Jewish and Christian Abrahamic do gooders. Real understanding is possible only when you consider ALL components of the religious divide on our planet. )

Couldn`t agree more. Not given to Hindi/Urdu movies, I recently saw `Range Basanti`, `Water` and last night `Fana` in Colombo because of very keen family members of friends.

I was amazed and could not help noticing how comfortably the religious symbology of different faiths is accepted in Indian media. Mosques, Mandirs, churches, prayers, rituals are depicted without any pun or sarcasm. Other faiths are clearly respected. Unlike the odd Hindu chahracter depicted in our movies invariably as an staunch believer and something very different.

`Subhan Allah` was background theme of `Fana`. This kind of acceptability in Pakistani media is unimaginable. No wonder it has been suffocated by its own scope.

`Water` was an exceedingly great movie bringing up the widows` issue.

I once heard Akbar speak at a function of Jinnah Foundation. Somewhere, he is certainly fixated with Islam - at the expense of others.

When Prince Hassan of Jordan who frequently visits Pakistan because of his Pakistani wife, noticed that we have changed `Khuda Hafiz` to `Allah Hafiz` , remarked `Why. Doesn`t God understand Persian?`.

You made a valid point.

The Long War: Rethinking American Options in the War on Terror
Posted by nazarhayatkhan Jun 16, 2006 10:55 pm
F R Khan

Being very busy, I have not gone through the article. But I have read some posts to get the jist.

If you are in any way showing compassion for going after the religious fanatics, please do not.

Religious fanatics could be from any faith. Unfortunately, presently Islam has the dubious distinction of producing the most.

The clear thinking of Bush & Australian PM is admirable. No compromise at all.

They are fighting for decent persons like you. There is no philosophy here. If a snake is not killed, it will kill you.

Zero tolerance is the answer. No arguements and logic. They have a preconceived set agenda for terrorrizing the week and timid.

best wishes

The Long War: Rethinking American Options in the War on Terror

What the Islamic radicals would have done to non-Muslims is another matter.

But they have or had already become a pain in the ... for the spineless moderate or non-practising Muslims. America came to their rescue accepting no excuses from these reptiles. Its soldiars are dying for a far-away cause and US has lost in terms of its respect.

Thank you. America. For showing courage.

Muslim leaders were cowards and had no courage to go for them.

I am producing below some parts of a document found in Zarqavi`s hide out. Read it fully at http://www.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/meast/06/15/zarqawi.document.ap/index.html

Zarqavi`s analysis of how insurrection was losing:

1.By allowing the American forces to form the forces of the National Guard, to reinforce them and enable them to undertake military operations against the resistance.
2.By undertaking massive arrest operations, invading regions that have an impact on the resistance, and hence causing the resistance to lose many of its elements.
3.By undertaking a media campaign against the resistance resulting in weakening its influence inside the country and presenting its work as harmful to the population rather than being beneficial to the population.
4.By tightening the resistance`s financial outlets, restricting its moral options and by confiscating its ammunition and weapons.
5.By creating a big division among the ranks of the resistance and jeopardizing its attack operations, it has weakened its influence and internal support of its elements, thus resulting in a decline of the resistance`s assaults.
6.By allowing an increase in the number of countries and elements supporting the occupation or at least allowing to become neutral in their stand toward us in contrast to their previous stand or refusal of the occupation.
7.By taking advantage of the resistance`s mistakes and magnifying them in order to misinform.

Future Plans

To avoid mistakes that will blemish the image of the resistance and show it as the enemy of the nation. Consequently, to embroil America in another war against another enemy is the answer that we find to be the most appropriate, and to have a war through a delegate has the following benefits:

1..To occupy the Americans by another front will allow the resistance freedom of movement and alleviate the pressure imposed on it.
2..To dissolve the cohesion between the Americans and the Shiites will weaken and close this front.
3.To have a loss of trust between the Americans and the Shiites will cause the Americans to lose many of their spies.
4.To involve both parties, the Americans and the Shiites, in a war that will result in both parties being losers.
5.Thus, the Americans will be forced to ask the Sunni for help.
6.To take advantage of some of the Shiite elements that will allow the resistance to move among them.
7.To weaken the media`s side which is presenting a tarnished image of the resistance, mainly conveyed by the Shiites.
8.To enlarge the geographical area of the resistance movement.
9.To provide popular support and cooperation by the people.

`Benefits`

The resistance fighters have learned from the result and the great benefits they reaped, when a struggle ensued between the Americans and the Army of Al-Mehdi.
However, we have to notice that this trouble or this delegated war that must be ignited can be accomplished through:

1. A war between the Shiites and the Americans.
2. A war between the Shiites and the secular population (such as Ayad Allawi and al-Jalabi.)
3. A war between the Shiites and the Kurds.
4. A war between Ahmad al-Halabi and his people and Ayad Allawi and his people.
5. A war between the group of al-Hakim and the group of al-Sadr.
6. A war between the Shiites of Iraq and the Sunnis of the Arab countries in the gulf.
7. A war between the Americans and Iraq.

`Best war`

We have noticed that the best of these wars to be ignited is the one between the Americans and Iran, because it will have many benefits in favor of the Sunni and the resistance, such as:

1. Freeing the Sunni people in Iraq, who are (30 percent) of the population and under the Shiite Rule.
2. Drowning the Americans in another war that will engage many of their forces.
3. The possibility of acquiring new weapons from the Iranian side, either after the fall of Iran or during the battles.
4. To entice Iran towards helping the resistance because of its need for its help.
5. Weakening the Shiite supply line.

Hence, it is necessary first to exaggerate the Iranian danger and to convince America and the west in general, of the real danger coming from Iran, and this would be done by the following:

1. By disseminating threatening messages against American interests and the American people and attribute them to a Shiite Iranian side.
2. By executing operations of kidnapping hostages and implicating the Shiite Iranian side.
3. By advertising that Iran has chemical and nuclear weapons and is threatening the west with these weapons.
4. By executing exploding operations in the west and accusing Iran by planting Iranian Shiite fingerprints and evidence.
5. By declaring the existence of a relationship between Iran and terrorist groups (as termed by the Americans).
6. By disseminating bogus messages about confessions showing that Iran is in possession of weapons of mass destruction or that there are attempts by the Iranian intelligence to undertake terrorist operations in America and the west and against western interests.

may be it were these political scientists of al Kayda who diverted US from Afghanistan to Iraq. Saddam was as great a pest for Al Kayda Jihadis as the US?

What is Pakistan to me?

Veeresh

Enjoyed reading it. Good one.

Having never visited India, I must admit I have a fascination for India. My mother used to speak so many Hindi words that gradually have faded away except when we watch indian TV.

In Colombo 7, where I live now, two houses away from me lives Jugjeet kapoor, a Punjabi from Dehra Doon. He works in Indian Embassy, Economic councillor. It is a handsome couple and extremly pleasant to interact. Though my wife says we should not visit them too often. He may get into a problem because of his job.

My office collegue is Pawan Kumar from Pathankot. So I am getting a lot of feel of India. Pawan Kumar and myself both visited Bangla Desh, Nepal and Bhutan togather on an official visit. Nice to have no language problem and eat the same channa, gobi and roti. (I brought him to having at least chicken soup & wine)

best wishes

Intersting information.

Hassann (# 1) has a valid point. Let this War of words go on on the FM.

People will choose - and they will eventually choose the Right.

Don`t we quickly switch over to `Fashion & Leisure` channel the moment we see a Mulla on TV.

Riba and the Pakistani Economy
Posted by nazarhayatkhan Jun 7, 2006 10:43 pm

Even the Western Banks are now jumping into this `Islamic Banking`. For pure coomercial reasons.

They get accounts of the emotional Muslims who wish to deposit the money with them & get no INTEREST.

they are only interested in sharing the Profit or Loss. So the Banks oblige them (Always?) with a bit of Profit. The same banks, when they loan out, they charge hefty `Service Charges` but take no interest.

Everyone is happy. The Muslim feels spiritual & the Bank makes money. Throw in some Arabic terms to make it all look authentic & religious.

it is a big hoax.

Unlike the RICH lenders of 7th century, now the lenders are millions of POOR people.

Better late than never.

Our childhood was without TV. It was radio (Radio Ceylon) & that gramaphone with dog.

And it was this music that put colour and romance into our lives. Superb mix of poetry & music.

Frankly, many years later, when VCR came and we saw the same songs being sung in the movies, it was a bit of disappointment. Neither the Hero nor the Heroine deserved to sing them.

Naushad, Thanks. You made my life richer and so beautiful.
