Well well well- i can so very well relate to it. If the society hasnt much to be happy about that doesnt justify the activties at basant. I was really pissed off to see so many cars from isloo and other parts in lahore in these two days and had it just been kites it would have been ok. people just dont feel and think about anything else around them. may it be sui or tsunami or anything else. I wonder whats wrong with us. I guess its the mind set

This is a very well written article actually. I wonder of what percentage of total population are we talking about? I guess not even 1%. I believe it is about conditioning actually. The conditioning changes the substance of the choices made by most of the women in our society. For conditioning who is to be blamed?

i under SGs feeling completely and she is so right. In my opinion women in our society are treated like daulay shah`s choohay which is inhuman simply.

i have been born and bred here. Its been long since i have started looking around and have undestood what happens around me in this society. It has suffocated me. I cant breath. I fully agree with with what you said. We treat most of our women as daulay shah`s mizaray which is so inhuman. Men, may it be husbands brothers or the fathers. They are the same.

Well its reality which is brutal like always. To me rape is more than this for we all have confused its definition. A girl is born in our society and is conditioned like a daulay shah`s boys in a way that they cant say No to their fathers. Their fathers, knowing that their own daughters dont wanna marry somewhere, marry them off. She didnt say no because she was conditioned in such a inhuman way and the fathers know that she isnt happy. This is rape to me. The rapist is the father of her own daughter.

I guess it happens to us all. Some consider us lucky to have and been loved, others dont. A brave effort to put in words which atleast I ve been afriad of ever since. Well done no doubt. A poem which dragged me back to a past is still so fresh and real. Salute to you who vented it out!
