I for one dont think its a `south asian` thing. Its a case of a guy not being man enough to accept the responsibility. He could be a s.asian or a wasp or an afro american or even a chinese. Region has got very nothing to do with it. I personally know at least two `white women` who were ditched by their `white` boyfriends when they got pregnant at 16 (To their credit, they went right ahead and had their babies and are now bravely raising them against all odds).
So while I totally understand Dina`s feelings, I don’t think its right to generalize this loser`s behavior to the whole south asian community.
