Why Doesn’t the World Care?

Re: # 338 besharam1

``You are absolutely confused in mixing my love for Pakistan with love for some religion. And that is the dilema I see with most Indians. Please provide arguments on the merits of the issue and leave religion out. ``

I am not confusing your love for pakistan for love of islam. I am questioning your love for pakistan. You are second calss citizen of your country and so you should get second class status outside your country too. thats why i call you besharam. If your country can not treat you as equal to it majority citizens, why i should treat you as equal to a pakistani. you are half a pakistani as far as i am concerned if that. The point is that whether you can win an election and become president or not, the question is where you can contest at all. Just because the chance is less, you want to close it to all the furtue generation of minorities who may dream of becoming the presidents and leading the nation. If that logic was followed we would not have seen a sikh PM in india. And ofcourse since you belong to unerprivileged class I understand that you have to justify you existence by reading about similar injustices around the world. I full sympathize with you and pity you

Re: # 336 kaalchakra
Assimilation of the minorities by the majority by force is definitely one way to achieve uniformity and seeming lack of dissent as in the case of China and Pakistan. But the definition of majority changes. it maybe based on religion/race/ideas/... etc and if the solution is just assimilation/supression of minorities it is not a long term solution. You can see that in pakistan. Majority want sharia law, majority want religion in their govt and majority want madarasas,.. thats whay they get. It supresses the minority opinion. In the long term freedom not only unleashes creativity in people, it is also moral thing to do.

dear besharam1
i did not mean to disrespect parsi culture or religion in anyway. I have utmost respect for them. I was only calling you besharam for your behavior. it has nothing to do with your religion or culture. Dont hide behind them. I can not respect any nation which does not give equal if not more (most civilized nations give more rights to minorities) rights to minorites, and i have even less repsect for persons who willingly settle for less rights either because they believe they are lesser humans than the majority or because they are scared of the majority or for any other reason. You come in to that category - as a pakistani citizen you can not become its president and yet you have no problems with it. You have convinced yourself that you are second class citizen and yet you support the cause of pure muslims. thats why i called you besharam1. why are you a mouthpiece for muslim majority country which does not give equal rights to all citizens? what is in it for you?

``Pakistan was founded because Muslims were all united for a better and independent society for themselves. ``

tera kya hoga kaalia? what is your position in pakistan as a parsi if the unity is only for muslims? harish has good point that if the reason for creation pakistan is because hindus and musilms can not live peacefully together, then how can they suddenly start living peacefully after the creation. just give up and get converted or get yourself kidnapped

one more reason i can think of is people are scared to give to islamic charities. They have been under heavy investigation lately in US. Unless the govt gives them clean chit, it is better to be safe than sorry. What do we know about how the money is going to be used- some of it maybe diverted by some bad guy and you may end up being liable. This issue is also central to the theme of this article. How did pakistan end up here that we well intentioned people can not even send money to the needy.

``To tahmed, do not worry about personal opinions, tell me whether you have an alternate exp[lantion for why Tanweer is a hero in pakistan, why did musheraff let him in, his dead body``

You are expecting too much of intelligence and civility from thamed. All he can do is shout monkey, monkey, hindutva monkey and accuse you of supporting dowry killings and abortions.
mullahs like him dont need brains to get by, all they need to do is read one book and everything they need to know is right there, including hating kaafirs like you.

``Jay the Domestic Terrorist: dont write lengthy posts to me. First answer my question: why do you think the burning of wives is OK?

Second: What did they do to you in the asylum?? You have come back even more full of hate than before?? ``

Why do pakis tolerate idiots like this? just like they tolerate the idiots who rule them i guess. All jay asked were simple questions. And this guys goes about dowry killings like a broken record. Do you support theft in pakistan moron tahmed? there is lot of stealing going on in pakistan.

``But please dont tell me that all is fine in India - not as long as you have individuals like Modi (not permitted entry to the US on account of his role in the Gujrat killings) as high elected officials; not as long as you have primitive and savage behavior of the kind noted in the WP article I posted and also in the US government report posted by HP. People who live in glass houses shouldnt throw stones. ``

you are not logical here. we barbeque our muslims and they barbeque right back. so what is your problem here again? we should behave as per your standards or else you will nuke yourselves? ok - so india does not have human rights. they are backward. so what is it to you? we only throw stones at you becuase you affect our society directly with your terrorism. otherwise who gives a rat`s ass to what you do within your borders. you can all kill each other or have orgies - none of our business

Re: # 232
``and mullah is not a bad word either. nor is a mosque a place to be razed to the ground. nor a muslim someone whose death is something to be mocked, as many of your countrymen were doing during the earthquake. ``

I agree lot of bad things happen in India. But they are all criminal and the people who are comitting the crime are taking a chance that they get caught and go to jail. There is nothing stopping anyone from seeking justice.
What we have problem with is the way pakistan govt acts like terrorirst.
1) They let the terrorist camps flourish, recruiting jihadis, giving them arms training etc
2) They let them cross their borders giving them covering fire
3) They let hardcore criminals like dawood ibrahim live freely in pakistan - if dawood is an indian citizen what right pakistan has to keep him in pakistan
4) And your president lies in public all the time without any accountability. If you dont believe me ask the following questions - where is dawood? were pakistani soldiers involved in kargil? Did you say that women were willingly gettign raped to get visas? So you support cross border terrorism?....etc
5) There is no difference between a sucide bomber and pakistan govt. Give us kashmir or else we will blow us up with nukes...

basically idiot tahamad`s argument is:

There are lot of murders happening in India - and he wants indians to answer why there are murders happening in India. Until indians coorect that, they deserve to be bombed.

Re: # 168 tahmed32
I called you an idiot because you are parroting WP line by some author with an agenda.
If you have to write about murders related to dowry, why dont you write about murders related to insurance money in US. I am sure you will find them in thousands too. But you wont write about them? Why? Killing for insurance money is ok but killing for dowry is not? ok maybe your beef is that there is punishment for murder in US and no punishment in India? Is that the case? But all the number of dowry related deaths you are hearing are because the killers were caught and it was dtermined to be dowry related. In india it is even a crime to take dowry forget about killing. So it is not about the law you are worried. So what is your beef Mr Tahmed?
And coming to your second point about abortions, you might find as many aborting here so that they can keep on partying without any responsibilities. Why dont you write about them and cry about how many abortions are happening in US? Is it ok to abort for recreational use and not for wanting to have either a girl or a boy. If that is case talk about it. Dont parrot others lines out of context like an idiot.

so what i am saying idiot tahmed is that your question should not be why are there lot of dowry murders, but why there is no punishment for dowry murders. And I would have said that there is an equal punishment if not more severe punishment for dowry murders as for any other murders. Now dont go pontificating why drug murders, or hate murders, or murders for money or other kinds of murders are better than dowry murders, you moron!

idiot like thamed pontificate about which murders are halal and which are haram. murder is a murder is a murder. But to mullas like tahmed a dowry murder is ultimate of all. those murderers are terrorists. not the ones that killes innocent bystanders in delhi. what double standards our resident mullah maintains:)

Re: # 126 tahmed32
dharma: the truth about dowry burnings is as reported in the washington post article i posted in #116. and it is easy to see why - only an indian like arjun would mock ``paki deaths``. you people have a long way to go before you can pontificate to anyone, or call anyone ``terrorist``. you indian men are terrorists to your own wives and daughters.

dowry burning is a murder and the law applies. If there are lot of murders in US despite the laws against them do you say that all US men are terrorists? I havent seen a case in India that just because it is dowry related they take it lightly. the punishment is infact more severe. the issue would be if there is no case or if the punishment is light, like in the cases of honor killings and rapes in pakistant that you have to be worried. what is the cause of your worry thamed? the law stipulates severe punishment for dowry kiling or killing for any reason in India. so why are you making it a big issue? You think that if some one proves murder in india and it turns out to be dowry murder they let it go. I would want you try that and see you escape. moron!
