Re: # 256: zeemax, what kinda cheap crack you`re smoking? Or wait, which patriotic/army-praised songs you`re listening to? I really feel sorry for people like you...and no I don`t need to give you an analysis or explanation to support my statement.

Yaar, I can relate to this article in more ways than you can imagine...I agree with you to the most part...I wonder sometimes how come you`re still alive in a country where Mullah`s and their ``cheelays`` are out to behead anyone with those ideas.
nonetheless, great article, keep writing and keep rocking my friend!

Black Sheep of Layari
In response to what Labyrinth1 said, I think all these parties are Equaly responsible for all this mess in Lyari and other poor areas/slums. In most cases these parties support these elements (people) in order to get a strong hold in the area. Like MQM did, or People`s Party (PPP) in some areas.

Mr Ali, very nice article...informative and to the point. I hope more people will come forward and write about areas like Lalookhati, Landhi, Malir, NazimAbad...etc. In response to what Labyrinth1 said, I think all these parties are Equaly responsible for all this mess in Lyari and other poor areas/slums. In most cases these parties support these elements (people) in order to get a strong hold in the area. Like MQM did, or People`s Party (PPP) in some areas.

The new face of Reality
I don`t watch reality shows at all but I hear about them from people all over the place, and I am surprised how much people hooked on these shows, more women than men.
Good job Zainab...Nicely written.

These networks are just pushing the limit...There is already a show where wife-swaping happens between two families to do the routine housework...I wonder what`s next?!I don`t watch reality shows at all but I hear about them from people all over the place, and I am surprised how much people hooked on these shows, more women than men.
Good job Zainab...Nicely written.

Wonderful article...good job. I am not punjabi, I hardly understand the language but I have always been fascinated by the vision of Bulley Shah...I have been trying to find the translation of his poems in English but so far no luck...if anyone could tell me where I can find something like that, it would be nice.Once again, thank you very much Umair Raja for writing such a wonderful article about Bulley Shah!

Come on, give the guy a break. He tried his best...it`s too literal but I have yet to read a comprehensive and meaningful translation of decent urdu poetry.
