Solving Amarnath: A New Hope in Kashmir Dear Indians

I have read many articles of the Amarnath land shrine conflict issue. Actually the author is trying to misguide Indians or trying to hide something or be evasive. the land was actually demanded by the ASB to facilitate the piligrims. But the piligrims allege that the land transfer would change the demographic pattern and reduce the Muslims to minority. Absolutley rubbish and illogical. First of all the place to the piligrims for 2 months in a year. It is a hilly terrain more prone to landslides and snow for 9 months in a year making it unfit for human settlement to stay there permanently. Already the Hindus have left Kashmir because they were forced to migrate because of the extremists. Even in European countries Muslims too demand land for burial of the dead and construction of Mosques. should they be refused, how they will react. what about the demographic pattern, one should ask them. I have come across many countries where muslims were not given permission to construct mosques (denmark). there are extensive reports appearing in the newspapers of Cananda that Muslims are now sowing the seeds of Islamic terrorism. The newspaper quotes the Muslims first settle, increase their numbers, demand land for mosques. Latter on they want the Islamic law "Sharia". I would ask these people can a canadian demand English Law in Saudi Arabia.

Don’t Hang Sarabjeet Dear Moeed,masadi and Urstruly

The question of hanging Sarabjeet doesn’t arrive. We, Indians don’t mind hanging Sarabjeet provided he is guilty and has really committed the crime. Tell me if the accused Sarabjeet is left free and tomorrow commits a heinous crime in India, Will the Indian Government paradon or exonerate him. These are the questions to be answered. Not only that the witness in this case has taken a 360 degree turn. Some of the relatives of the victims have said they will commit suicide if the accused is left free. But first I ask u honestly to answer my question. What were the pakistani intelligence officials and police agencies doing when Sarabjeet crossed the Border with the Bomb. Where they (Police officials)sleeping or munching peanuts when he was planting the bomb. Since there was no fence or barbed wires, he might have actually slipped across the border. How is it possible for one person single handedly to orchestrate bomb blasts in different cities viz (Lahore, Multan & Islamabad). There must be some local people or local conspirators involved in this crime.

First let the law of the land take its own course. Sarabjit’s case leaves many questions unanswered. First what were the pakistani intelligence officials and police agencies doing when Sarabjeet crossed the Border with the Bomb. Where they sleeping when he was planting the bomb. How is it possible for one person single handedly to orchestrate bomb blasts in different cities viz (Lahore, Multan & Islamabad). Secondly Pakistan is a haven (paradise) for suicide bombers, robbers, smugglers, dacoits. In the past one year there has been so may suicide blasts. Suicide Bombers have targeted everywhere in Pakistan whether market places, public rallies, airports, army recruitment camp, army cantonment, Naval college, Lahore High court, police stations, religious places. My question to you how many suicide bombers have been arrested, punished, hanged and their operations foiled. How may people (victims) have been compensated till today, not even one, forget justice. In the first week of January 2008, 2 dozen policeman were killed outside the Lahore High court by a suicide bomber. The policeman were sitting ducks. Last month a popular Italian restruant was bombed. Most of the victims were Europeans, those who survived have a hearing problem, their ears were blasted. Tell me who will visit Pakistan if this is the case. You must read the statement of Andrew Symonds who has openly refrained from visiting Pakistan. You own Prime Minister Mrs Bhutto was assisnated by a suicide bomber in a gun and bomb blast. Even the Australian cricket team had to cancel their tour after the entire security building was targeted. It was a seven storeyed building. Last year the south Africans had to cancel their visit to Karachi. The first bomb blasts was at a hotel which was done by the RAW according to Pakistani newspapers. Next day there was a second blasts at the same hotel which was done by the hotel management. Actually speaking, there were some differences between the management and the hotel workers. This is the quality, type of Pakistani investigation and reporting.

Winter sports were cancelled in Gulmarg. In the 1989 when foreign tourists were kidnapped and beheaded by the Pakistani backed militants Hizbul Mujahidden and Lakshar Toeba, many forigen countries had issued a warning to their citizens to refrain from visiting Kashmir. You can expect cricket and other sports (indoor and outdoor) to be played in Karachi when things are normal, not when there are bomb blasts in every nook and corner of Pakistan. Your own former Prime Minister Benair Bhutto was assisnated last December despite the top class security. In the first week of January 26 policemen were targetted by a suicide bomber.

The school girls should first welcome the visiting team Zimabawe for taking biggest risk of playing cricket in Pakistan. After the French Karachi blasts, the French Embassy was closed for one full year. The New Zealand team who were staying in the hotel close to the French Embassy had a close shave with death. Pakistan continues to one of the most unsafe places in the 21st century. I am not sure whether the cricket players of the visiting team will go in one piece after visiting Pakistan. The Karachi French Blasts, the attack on European Nationals and US Diplomats. Many of the countries have warned their citizens and residents from traveling to Pakistan. Most of the cricket teams had cancelled/boycotted/refused to play in Pakistan causing losses to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). According to Ayaz Amir the fundamentals in Pakistan are thinking of how to make Pakistan more Islamic in the land of Pure where more then 90% Muslims reside. Even Mushraff once admitted the main threat to Pakistan is internal one and not external.

Sorry for the late reply since I was out of country. In short not a single temple seems to stand erect or in a good condition. Domes fallen, walls crumbling, pillars missing, the idols or the statue looted, broken, missing, smashed or vanished, stones of the temples removed for home construction, the paintings done on the walls of the temple are desecrated by the fanatics, Even the Pakistan Army is using the temple as a polling Booth. Building Barriers in Britain Dear Farouq Taj, Zeemax, Nasah

Look man, England is England and not Pakistan or Saudi Arabia, so those Muslims who want to settle in any European country should follow the regulations and prevailing in that country that is the law of the land. The same applies for U.S.A and Canada.
My advice is to those Muslim women who wear Burqas(Viel) like Aishah Azmi is that they should stop wearing Burqas if they want to reside in that country. It is as simple as that. In Islamic countries such as Saudi Arabia, Iran and Pakistan even Non Mulsim women are compulsory forced to wear Burqas. There is no discount or concession. No body protests, why are Muslims are silent. Even the laws in Islamic countries are biased towards Non Muslims (viz, Hindus, Sikhs and Christians). For eg A MBBS Christian student from Lahore has filled petition in the Lahore High court, the petitioner alleges that Muslim who learn the Hafeez-E-Quran by heart are a given 20% more marks. The same cardinal principal doesn’t apply for Hindus, Christians and Sikhs for learning their religious books.

I find it very hard to understand why are Pakistanis so obsessed with Aishwarya, Shah Rukh Khan when both of them have refused/refrained to visit Pakistan on several occasions. Even Pakistanis organizers who want to invited Indian Film actors and actress are were also threatened by fanatics.It just takes one fanatic to do something spectcular. Imran Khan was threatened by MMA for inviting Amir Khan for a Charity show in Lahore. It would be better if Aishwarya, Shah Rukh Khan don’t visit Pakistan in the near future. Not only that there is a complete ban on Indian films in Pakistan. The ban is further extended to Indian channels, Indian Magzines and Indian products. There was a time after Partition when “Hindi” language was considered as a Language of the Enemy. Any one teaching, learning or writing Hindi was considered a traitor and even declared a Anti-National. Many ancient and price-less Hindi and Sanskrit Books were completely Burned in Lahore (Now Pakistan).

The Uncertain Future of India-Pakistan-Iran Pipeline Dear Dost Mittar

Respected Sir,

I would like to salute you for writing such a article. I fully agree with you in case of hostility or war, Pakistan will turn off the tap or increase the price of gas therby making unusable or uneconomical. Actually talks for the India- Iran pipeline first started during the Benazir rule in the early 1980’s. The then Prime Minister of Pakistan was reluctant to go with the pipeline project. There were war like statements made by her. For the last 2 decades we only had talks and talks, that’s all. Not only that the pipeline lines are attacked daily by the tribal Sardars in Baluchistan. My question to you when Pakistan cannot protect their own gas pipeline despite the top class security infrastructure (on paper) what it the guarantee of India-Iran gas pipeline. Under these circumstances, I feel the so called peace pipeline is a dead issue. Like the Indians, the Pakistanis are too skeptical. Take the case of Baghaliar dam, Pakistan feel the dam will deprive Pakistan it’s share of water. However India says Pakistan’s concerns are unjustified and unwarranted.
