The Reverse Reward of 2009
"..President Obama will deserve prize if he can make india vacate Kashmir, Hyderbad state, Junagarh , goa and sikkim peacefully and become part of Pakistan.."
You are right. Since most Pakistanis consider that they are descendents of Grand Moghuls, why not part with Delhi, Lucknow, Hyderabad as part of Pakistan. If Obama does not do that it is too bad. Let us skip Goa for there is too much alchohol and free love there.and may not agree with ever religious Mullahs and Mawdudi.

I honestly think that the The author's observation and writing, "..The destruction of the Twin Towers was a fluke mass murder by a bunch of terrorists.." is a schizopreic bizarre statement. What a rubbish people think and right.Kamath
Hey America, Come Join The Civilized World!
Here in Canada one has to produce a medical card which every citizen gets free for health care. -eventhogh in some provinces there is a anual fee depending on income level-.
I am told in USA, the patient has to produce his Credit Card before health care professionals do attempt anything.
Is it correct?

Pakistan Crisis - Seven Problem, Seven Solutions
I am glad that you have an introspective mindset to analyse and acknowledge some of the problems of body-politic of Pakistan. But it amazes me how you forgot another very important problem that has plagued rulers and wheelers-dealers of the country.
How about Pakistan’s refusal or debilitating weakness to make peace with its neighbours say Afghanistan and India. Decades were lost in dreaming of grandiosity of being descendent of Grand Mughals, seeking parity as a Siamese-twin status with India, dreaming of building matching offensive capability in conventional and nuclear arms.
Was this not done at a prohibitive cost to the society ? ie.- providing, clean water, basic health, schooling, good governance, rule of law and security against civil strife and fear etc. etc.
Why didn’t Pakistani rulers invest and take steps to match if not beat Hindustan in producing, writers, scholars, poets, good technocrats, industries, Pallywood cinemas that would have earened praise and gratitude of people?
Making peace does not mean rolling over and crying ‘Mammy”- it is all over! It is taking positive steps to win confidence of Pakistan’s nemesis. Until then, there will only be an unending state of neurosis and paralysing fear, and hair trigger anxiety and irrational behaviour.
I think it is still not too late to bring about changes!

Denial of Right of Self-Determination to Kashmirs
Why don't Indians hand over the following to Pakistanis? To start with;
- Kashmir, then Tajmahal and Agra, then comes Delhi, Lucknow,Ahmadabad, Bijapur etc. Don't forgetRann of Kutch too. After all most Pakistanis as I understand are the heirs of Grand Mughuls you see.
Then Pakistani and Indians will have total peace in the Indian sub-continent.

Sir: Here in this Cyberspace we write in and discuss topics in English. So why do some suddenly revert or regress to write in Urdu? Perhaps would you be kind enough to give an English translation please?

War of Words : Swat Military Campaign
Manipulating words is nothing new. It has been part of the propaganda for a long time. I remember during the peace loving US president Carter's time when the term " Enhanced Radiation device" was used for a nuclear bomb. Soon critics rediculed the name. It is now known as " Neutron Bomb".
How about precision air-strikes ,!
Lastly, how about the Pakistani President using the word, --Non-state actors who were engaged in Terrorist activities.
-They are not Pakistanis-!! Even if a bird walks like a duck, quacks like a duck- it is a duck right?
How about moderate Talibani and middle-of-the road Nazi?

Sufi Muhammed...No More a Joke
You say,"..If they can fight the 7th largest army of the world, 3 times in 60 years, why are they unable to fight these goons with local made machine guns and opium money?.."
But they lost every war, half the territory of Pakistan and surrendered 93,000 men. Here you are fighting 'Muslims Vs Muslims" and Koran forbids such abn act. That is why?
