You`ve crystallised my thoughts, Romair.
No Burial for Balakot
Army Brig. General buried his only 9 year old son and returned
straight to work in Muzaffarabad. Army colonel lost all his family
and has been flying-in relief efforts since. And there are scores
of others like these two officers.
Hoodbhoy is using this disaster as a ploy to drum-up business.

Pakistan-Afghan Relations in Murky Waters
India is the number one terrorist in the neighbourhood. Indians are shameless
people who assign terrorism to legitimate freedom struggles by oppressed
people whose countries were hijacked by common chores like Nehru & Gandhi.

Well said. They do not call Calcutta ``The Dark Hole``, for nothing. They were
showing an indian documentary today titled ``War And Peace`` about the foo-
lishness of indian nuclear ambitions while more than half of that country does
not have a pot to pi** in.

The Freedom of Empathy
the heck did this article, get past the Chowk censor board ?.
For me Umair, it`s my elders who`ve been a consistent and balanced source
of such reminders. They grew up under Colonial tyranny. They lived in a time
when signs like ``No Dogs And Indian Allowed`` were meant for them. These
might`ve sounded like fairy tales to me, but for the daily coverage of Muslim
oppression and mass murder --from Iraq to Kashmir, by occupation forces.
You have to be some sort of a sociopath to remain unmoved by their sufferring.
Pakistanis are blessed with a freedom, that can only be fully appreciated
when you leave it`s soil. And those parasites who were suckled and sustained
by this land and then later, chose to leave it and now, sit outside and mock it...
only reveal their lowly character.

Losing My Religion
The practice of interfaith marraiges in India wrt the Muslim community, is
worrisome.

worrisome.

Changing Muslim Hearts
up signs to news reports that RAW and Israeli Mossad is acting jointly
to promote ethnic and sectarian strife in Pakistan, through mass scale
bombings and targeted killings.
Subhaan`allah. A true follower of Gandhi and Nehru. ;)

Re: # 15 It is amazing. Just this last week you were giving big thumbs-up signs to news reports that RAW and Israeli Mossad is acting jointly
to promote ethnic and sectarian strife in Pakistan, through mass scale
bombings and targeted killings.

Changing Muslim Hearts
Muslims who feel the Christians don`t like them anymore (not for
what they might`ve done, but for who they are), should become
Christians. When they get up in the morning they should put shoe-
polish on their faces and act `ghetto` all day.
Either that, or maybe the time has come to dust off the Quran
and learn what`s in it. Become proud ambassadors of their faith,
fit to be emulated by the west. Instead of being held hostage by
the action of others, forever lamenting their state and fate.

I have a solution:Muslims who feel the Christians don`t like them anymore (not for
what they might`ve done, but for who they are), should become
Christians. When they get up in the morning they should put shoe-
polish on their faces and act `ghetto` all day.

Idolizing the Koran
body is prepared to comprehend it`s multi-layered message. Just like you don`t
become a surgeon by reading one medical textbook. There are folks out there
who have spent lifetimes trying to better understand this one book. One can
use their broad knowledge-base and expertise to one`s benefit, eg: Maudodi.
There is a difference between plain reverance and worship. I don`t think there
was a Muslim out there, even jahil farmhands, who didn`t know the difference.
But I like the overall tone of the author, as he tackled this most sensitive of
subjects and congratulate him on turning over a new leaf.

While everyone should read and try to understand the Quran solo, not every-body is prepared to comprehend it`s multi-layered message. Just like you don`t
become a surgeon by reading one medical textbook. There are folks out there

Pakistan’s Choice
One of the more simple-minded, half-baked, harebrained and thus
irresponsible articles I have read on FP (which is why I generally
try to stay away from it).
Fortunately, for Pakistan, the denizens of Chowk have little to do with
it`s day-to-day running. *phew*

Exhilarating Cricket Series
They tried to burn down one venue, threw projectiles into the
ground at another and pelted the Pak team bus with bricks in
Kanpur, one which narrowly missed Inzy`s head.
And this, after the sort of welcome the indians recieved in Pak
last year.
No class, whatsoever.

Yasser Arafat
against Muslims and their heroes, that unfortunately is rife today in the west.
Next to Dennis Ross and Edward Said, whose collective efforts amount to
zilch on the ground, Arafat single-handedly engineered the liberation move-
ment that put the Palestinian issue on the map.
If there was no Arafat, there would`ve been no Palestinian movement. The
tens of thousands of ordinary Palestinians who recieved Arafat today in
Ramallah and gave him a sendoff befitting a national hero, belie the conti-
nuous stream of slanderous claims from the west against him and his working
releationships with the other Palestinian outfits.
The ummah will become strong, once we decide to think for ourselves, rather
than blindly taking cues from vested interests in the west.
