Why Have This Train At All?
Posted by DP Dec 5, 2007 04:04 am
I feel that Attari Express ( DELHI-ATTARI ) and Samjhauta Express ( ATTARI-LAHORE ) should not be stopped at all rather there should discipline, order ( systematic working )and all the passengers & their luggage should be scanned/checked in order not to let any mishap take place again. It is poor man's Shatabdi to Lahore / Delhi and it binds / re strengthens relationships between Indo-Pak people. Khuda isse nazar-e-bad se bachae. Ameen.

Tahira....Salaam. I read and really enjoyed yr story very much. How true it is and how close it is to an actual women' gathering in north India as I happen to see my wife & her friends, at times, indulging in all the activities which yr characters r indulging into. GREAT WORK.
Back To Idol Worship

It is true that so much unnecessary hero worshipping of useless singers/dancers/filmi artists is going on in south asia...Disgusting. Where the hell the thought process of Gen Next has gone ? There r no quiz / debates ( brain sharping progg ) etc on TV these days rather all the prime time is booked for nautch girls, bath room singers & Grade 2 heroines with painted red cheeks... Do they think only Marassis and Hijras r going to rule the country ???
What Drives Men and Women of Indian Subcontinent to Infidelity?

It is well said that there is no need to buy the full costly Pig when your hunger could be satisfied with a string of low priced sausages. This is a clear hint towards having temporary & `time pass` relationships in this mad rushy world where starting, keeping & nurturing a serious relationship is troublesome, risky & naturally costly affair.
So aal kal sab kuchh chalta hai ....Bhai. NJoy Life as it comes to you.

Malka Pukhraj

Malikka was a real Queen. Queen of Sur-taal and that queen who ruled ( and surely will keep on ruling for ages to come till the nafasat of flow of lovely urdu shairy remains favourite with the chosen few ) the hearts and minds of music lovers. Her marvellous combination with Tahira, her daughter added more charm and delight.
The nasheb-o-faraz ( ups and downs ) of the lae of her voice remained intact till quite later time.

My family members and friends always considered her as a Pakistani singer ( so what if she had a Paki passport ? ) as her style and lehja and talaffuz were all Dogri ( of Jammu region ) as she had spent her early age there only.

Her departure from earth is a setback for us but music lovers there, high up in the skies might be enjoying her melodies, I believe.
