Yea Karachi is like Mumbai with more guns, less homeless people and no nightclubs. Our drugs are still better than yours though :P

Sir, in most cases you don`t need a degree to get a call-center job as long as you can speak decent English and have some confidence, and 15,000rs a month is not much hardly enough to support 1 person and definitely not enough for a family (that is if you want to enjoy a middle class lifestyle)

I despise the fauji thugs, and have no doubt in my mind that a lot of these statistics have been doctored. However, their is no denying that things are a hell of a lot better for the middle class, now at least someone with a B.Com degree from KU can get a job at a call centre or some small bank job and make 15,000 a month

I don`t understand how the PPP are the are the ``flag barriers of modernity and progressiveness in Pakistan``, when it was Daddy Bhutto who set the ball rolling wrt the islamization of Pakistan. Churayl did not do shit to repeal the fascist laws imposed by Zina Owl Hack.

Moreso, than the MQM the problem with Karachi is the absolutely unchecked immigration into the city from all parts of the country. If this trend continues this city will be a wasteland in no time. No matter how many shopping malls they decide to build.

meray bhai, I`m not saying that mobile snatchings don`t happen I`ve had a V3 razr stolen from me at gunpoint ( have`nt gotten a new cell since) in Phase V in broad daylight and know multiple people who have experienced this, what I`m saying is you can`t blame the MQM for all of Karachi`s problems

Re: # 5
Contrary to popular perceptions, the mobile snatching epidemic isn`t a creation of the MQM, anyone and everyone who can get their hands on a TT and need some money or are just looking to have some fun will go out mobile snatching. You folks need to realise that the 90`s are over

Pakistan: Cricket World Cup

I used to think Inzamam was the only reasonable choice for captaincy, but after seeing the way he used Mohammed Aasif during the South Africa series (bowling him for 10 overs straight) and his removal of Waqar as bowling coach (the guy who was instrumental in Umer Guls recent form) I`m not sure he`s the right guy anymore and I doubt we`ll win it this time.

``As a non-Mohajir try opening a shop in the middle of any Mohajir area in Karachi. People will kick you out in 2 seconds.``
WTF are you talking about, where is this so called exclusively mohajir area, every single area in Karachi is mixed, except the mini ilakha ghairs which are exclusively pathan and outsiders need permission to enter. Do you even know where Karachi is?
