I would have to assume whoever started the direct action day.

I would have to assume whoever started the direct action day.
Poking the Good Turk in the Eye
Genocide in Gujarat by Modi and right-wing Hindus
Genocide in Cambodia by Khmer Rouge
Genocide in East Pakistan by Pakis
Genocide in Algeria by French
Genocide in Palestine by Israelis
Genocide in East Punjab by Indians
Genocide of Chechens and Tatars by Soviets
Genocide in China by Japs
Genocide of Muslims in Balkans by Serbs, Greeks, Montenegrins, and Bulgarians
Genocide of Indians by white Europeans In US and Latin America
Genocide of Irish by British"
Salim, I know, the omission of the mention of genocide of Hendoos at hands of momins in West Punjab/Sindh and East Bengal during partition was an inadvertent mistake. :)

I'm not denying existence of Pakistan nor do I want to unite Pakistan with India. Don't get me wrong. I'm not Akhand bharati. :)

I don't come on FP often so I had no idea where Ras stood on this issue but I have a tendency to view the hand of friendship offered by Mohajir Muslims a little more critically before accepting it.

I mean, you don't have to look far for what I said. Nikhat, here, is perfect example of what I was saying. "TNT was good then but now Muslims can coexist with Hindus.... so, just forget what happened already and spread Aman-ki-Asha" I don't come on FP often so I had no idea where Ras stood on this issue but I have a tendency to view the hand of friendship offered by Mohajir Muslims a little more critically before accepting it.

And, I trust Ras is genuine. That's why I apologized for my flippancy to him earlier.

Pbasher, yaar you can let go and move forward with people who are capable of objective analysis of history of the subcontinent. You can't have TNT when it suites you and then Hindi muslim bhai-bhai when it's convenient. That's not a genuine friendship. We would not give the same advice to victims of 2002 carnage in Gujraat now, would we?And, I trust Ras is genuine. That's why I apologized for my flippancy to him earlier.

And Nikhat, who MNIK shows is an antithesis to TNT. You can't like movie and TNT at the same time, you gotta pick one. :)

I just want him to ponder over the fact that Hindus and Sikhs who came from Pakistan have no relatives left behind to talk about.

The first step of friendship is reconciliation and acceptance of historic facts- not as point of contention but as a gesture of good faith- is the first step of that reconciliation process. - Cobra
