Too short. Reads well, enough for me to want more. :)

Touché. :)
Inzi Post-Bob: An Interview
Posted by supersize Mar 24, 2007 02:14 am
This article captures well the ridiculous nature Pakistan cricket got into in the last many years. The last line ```` You are good Muslim. Here, have a Pepsi```` spot on hits on the contradiction Inzi and his team became.
The Bubble Bursts

Only a few articles ago on cowk and The News, NFP was like a Pragmatic Marxist hailing away Gen. Musharraf`s ``liberal revolution,`` now it took just two days of fundo violence for him to turn into a heart-broken Alarmist Marxist?
Under the Influence

Re: # 27
NFP, but I remember during the interview you gave to Fasi Zaka on Indus Music, you said that if one takes out the money of MNCs from the Pak music scene, it will collapse. I know you were talking more about the fragility of the scene but what other alternative do we have if not sponsorship?

This is like david lynch on LSD. Blasted. Your attacks on institution of religion and capitalism are getting madder and madder.
Nowhere: The Utopian Destination

Heartening to see someone still wondering the possibility of Utopias in this day and age. But some would suggest that we already live in one.
Catch 22 1/2

This was thorough. And those are very interesting points you make about Amitabh`s angry young man flicks set around Indra Gandhi`s diluted version of Socialism and how those so-called social films like Sangeeta`s Soceity Girl actually gave anti-Bhutto conservatives the symbols to attack his government.
Happy Holidays Versus Merry Christmas

Re: # 2
>(funnily, Portugal has changed so much, the Goans are still living in the 1930s, even their local Portuguese language is outdated by many decades).<

:) So true. Same case with Christians in Karachi. Wonder what the reasons could be?
Spirits and Sauces

A tirade against homosexuality or homophobia? Or maybe liberalism? Whateva, left me dizzy.

Nothing new. These sort of quakes have become common. But they are being called aftershocks and believed not as fearsome.

Lol ... what on earth was this?? This is totally out there. Extreme humour and satire has never looked so mad. Total riot.
Black Pakistan and White Pakistan

Mantolives
Methinks the whole issue and subject required this kind of simple putting? It is black and white as someone here mentioned, and should be treated that way. I wonder how else clould Saima have dealt with it.

The Ground Beneath Pakistan’s Feet

Well done, Paracha. So many of us were thinking the same but nobody on the tele is ready to say this. They`re all busy making a lot of noise. But you should also have mentioned the services of Fakher-e-Alam who without any allusions to Islam or any political ideology have done a wonderful job for Aaj TV. Someone just has to get rid of that Dr. Shahid Masood fellow. His ranting is of no help. All these ``preachers`` on ARY Gold and Geo TV should learn from Fakher.
