Quiet Company
Posted by nafisa2 Sep 18, 2006 01:35 am

Long time.
Well i guess the poem is not about conveying anything, its more about feeling the moment....more about feeling the moment the writer has lived or is imagining to live
Nice..... well written poem, just as always expected of you... somehow i loved ``Heralding Music`` much more , maybe i could relate to it more.
As rightly said by Rahul ... Captured ``the mood of a moment`` beautifully. Thats just your forte to write such poems, your too good at it and getting better.
Keep writing.
Mumbai Rocked by Seven Bomb Blasts

All the people who died in mumbai blasts yesterday.May their soul rest in peace .My heartfelt condolonces for all the ppl who lost their loved ones and all who are injured in the blasts , may god give them the strenght to overcome this tragedy.
Whoever are behind this act are simply not human let alone slotting them according to religion or nationality.Hope there is peace after these blasts. As always after such terrorist attack in india the minority community is targeted and they fear retaliation , but hope the government takes appropriate measures to maintain peace.Political parties have already started their war , the opposition blaming the ruling party ,wish they could use all the energy and time on the betterment of society and providing adequate measures in the time of need.
Mumbaikars truely prove wrong the readers digest statement after the survey tht mumbai is one of the rudest city of the world , for atleast what i witnessed last night wayback from churchgate were 100`s of people on street who were there to help people in need.
Long Live Mumbai.
May there be peace in the world

why are some ppl here so agressively crusading for either the americans or the iraqis. After reading the prose , i dont think tht josiah and badr should be slotted according to their religion , race or nationality , they are just 2 individuals , ordinary ppl like you and me , who would defend themselves if needed, who are dutiful and who want peace in this world.
So let there be PEACE

well written Shahid
keep up the good work
