Excellent article, NFP. I`d given up on you when went bonkers with that hyper-experimental stuff of yours. So tell us already, was the gentleman Junaid?

The Ground Beneath Pakistan’s Feet

ARY and GEO are always trying to go one-up against each another. This has helped Aaj and you are right in saying this earthquake has helped them make the difference. Insightful article.

PS: Owner of ARY, Haji Abdul Razzaq, whom you mentioned is an absconder, is wanted by NAB for cases of corruption first registered against him by the second Nawaz Sharif govt.
He was said to be close to Asif Ali Zardari.
Devrai: Story of a Schizophrenic

This reminds me of this film I saw sometime ago, its name is not clear. But Hiren watch Sybil, which I think is a classic in terms of analysing life with a schizo.

The game has just begun and it is very irritating the coverage of ARY and GEO. But I don`t think feeble former star liberals like Junaid Jamshed, Najam and Atiya Khan can do much to influence public beliefs. They are harmless, as harmless and entertaining as as they were as pop stars or models.

FV,
Really daling, yours is always a great read. But only if, even when used sarcastically, yoyu would lessen the usage of the `b` word so much. :)

Nadeem F. Paracha

This was good and honest. Because lashing out at Mush has become sort of a fashion. This article brings into prespective what we have gained culturally at least and all that was lost or raped in the last so many years.

New style this FV. Crisp and snappy, but rozaiba I think she was trying to be sarcastic about selling out, weren`t you?
The Aftergod

Superb. Khool imagery, very much NFPsque. So your personal war with distorted faith goes on. But let`s say someone in Pakistan would like to stage this play, will they be able to?
20 Worst Pakistani Pop Songs … ever!

Blugaze dude, I`m sure you are lucky enough not to have heard these songs. Becaue if you live in Paakistan, then one can just not escape most of these numbers. Each oneof them are played again and again across out TV channels and FM radios. But I disagree with NFP on a couple, but I do agree with him on most, especially Atif, Najam and Salman and that creep, Deeno.

Rao, I am left confused with this. Still have to figure out your position. Think you are being unclear.

This left me woozy. Must read again. All hell breaks loose in NFP writings. Life as we know it?
