Why not hang Surabjit Singh?
But the government could have surely give him life-long sentence because if he is a spy and is freed in few years imprisonment then the message they are giving across that hey we welcome spies, do your work happily, if you are lucky enough you will not get caught, or else it is just some years imprisonment.
As far as the legal access to people like fishermen who crossed the borders is concerned, I solely agree but it is a faulty system afterall. It can't also be ignored that some one out of them can be a spy too. I am writing this with government's perspective but my own opinion lies in friendship and open borders. Both countries need to work not alone but collectively in creating this awareness and feeling of humanity and friendship but how they will if they themselves lack these.

I feel the same. The issues of masses have never been taken seriously. I also feel democracy is perfect for a nation where people are educated or at least aware. We need a tailored democracy which will make road for the real democracy. -Raheel Lakhani
What is Hinduism? A Personal View
There are some suggestions:
"OM" is more used then "Aum"
Formatting can be improved. Maybe there is some technical mistake or you might have done the formatting in this way by yourself. If you are putting something word to word use italics or you can still rephrase it. The whole bottom part in bold seems not the perfect way to format.
Great Article!!

I really like this article. It helped me to understand the coherence of Hinduism with other religions. You highlighted it without hurting any feelings of any religion. There are some suggestions:

I still thought that the title and the coherence in the article can be improved. The first part and the second part doesn't seem connected.

I think you have to put a valid point across. Our government is more concerned about the facts than the reasoning. I still thought that the title and the coherence in the article can be improved. The first part and the second part doesn't seem connected.

You have used similies very well to depict the condition of societies. Though it is not idealistic and have gray areas. This makes me think who is a 'so-called' hijra and who isn't? Great setting and awesome story.-Raheel Lakhani

Yes that what my point was. For a leadership, sense of ownership is important and not the kind of ownership that Feudals claim which is less ownership more property.
Thanks.

I think they are just putting information and reporting it. They are more sensationalizing everything, rather than educating and creating awareness.I think only Pakistani English channels are doing some good work.

Very well researched and opinionated piece but still I find the length of the article an issue because it changes it from an article into a research paper which can cater a section of public. People do look to the length of an article before reading. Secondly, some of the background facts could have been avoided to make it shorter. I hope you won't mind this suggestion.-Raheel Lakhani

Points taken. But do u see anyone who has done something good for the country. Why Musharraf has done that also has a reason? If he is doing it for remaining in the power, it is still not that bad because I seriously think that he would do more better for the country. It was debt by Benazir and Nawaz, which was cleared in Musharraf regime. Actually I don't see anyone in the political arena, who would take Pakistan somewhere. And please dont say Imran Khan, he is more talk, no action. The action of his hospital I completely support but otherwise on the political front, he has only been good for action against MQM and that is it.

First and foremost, thanks for your comment. I agree on the part that mother-tongue isn't a parameter for judgment of leadership skills but on the other hand the content she delivers also doesn't put any good image.

I solely agree on who is Musharraf to pardon BB's crimes. But I still feel Musharraf is best out of the worsts. If someone better than him comes which I don't think there is, I will surely support them. Imran Khan is lots of talk and no action. He could do a lot but I don't see him doing that.

I guess sex is about intimacy and showing real sex publicaly is wrong as it is not an issue of freedom of expression. You are free to express things but there are certain ways in which it should be done.

Do you see any religious purpose behind this war? I mean did Israel want all this because of political reasons or was there any religious reasons too?

Again I would say, Islam is so diverse but I agree to the point that most of the sects just go very literal. They are stuck in a world which existed 1400 years back. They aren`t liberal enough to use their minds to intepret Quran, they just read it. No offence to anyone!
