Is This Why the Jews Are Disliked by Other Religions?
Posted by imtiaz84 Dec 13, 2005 02:17 am
Dear All,

I think the whole issue has not been understood properly. The first mistake was by the writer who while presenting the issue just mention the one side of the picture.Jews like all other communinities on earth comprised of heterogenous people good, moderate and bad. Same is the case with Muslims. No doubt, the issue of Palestine has alot to do with muslims feelings but there are so many places where Jews and muslims are working to gether and doing well. The hatered that is prevailing in the world against Jews is because their sense of supiriority which they derive from their regious beliefs.

Dear Bina,

I do agree with you and Nazar. The issue like this demand great delicacy when discussed in the public.I am totally surprised by remarks of President. In my view, he should take all possible action showing the victims that honor of the women is dearest to every Pakistani. All possible laws should be inforced to stop these kinds of incedents to be repeated in future .This is only possible if the crimnals are punished in a examplary fashion.

Dear Indians,

I am quite suprised by all you write in relation to the pipe line issue. Please put all your differences in some safe place under tight lock and key. This pipe line is critical for the development of the region, prosperity of the layman who is now suffering from the rise in the oil prices. As well mentioned in the article the comments of the Priminister of Pakistan , this pipe line is a win-win situation for both countries as well as for Iran.People of both countries need it. This will make their life comfortable. Stop passing the comments which hurt feeling of others. This will only guarantee us the peace in the region.Otherwise , you all know Pakistan and India are on equal footings when it comes to nuclear aersnal.I think, Pakistan has gone much a head with its sophiticated technologies the result of which you all witnessed in shape of Cruise Missel Test.

I think as the time progress, the participation of the women has evolved in all sphere of life in Pakistan. You take any university, top scorers are girls, any office whether government or private , you will find women and their number is growing day by day. When It comes to hijab, I do agree with you it is really a discreation not an obligation both in Islam and in society.

Dear Bina Shah,

You article above is really a fun to read .Unfortunately, this does not present the true picture of Pakistani society.Exceptions are the part of every society and you can not genralizethese to the whole society.A country where a woman had run the office of Prime Minister not once but twice can not be viewed and judged properly in the light of your article. So please be honest next time when you pick up your pen.
