If Robert Fisk were Rameez Farooq…
It’s not so simple. A dominating community`s thinking process is not the same as that of a lesser community’s.
“Nobody blames Catholics for the crimes of the IRA or ETA...That`s because the vast majority of catholics don`t blame it on opression or poverty or some shit like that.. “
Even if lesser communities did blame catholic for IRA’s crimes it wouldn’t count.

Question is; who is the target of Madam’s ire? The Muslims who put Fisk on high pedestal or Fisk himself? I think both are acting in perfectly normal way. Assuming Fisk is patronizing, what is the big the deal about it. And why should Fisk call himself Rameez Farooq, paint his face brown and see if gets the same response? He is not answerable to Muslims or the author. If he gets favorable response and is happy with it and crowd of some Muslims get a sense of satisfaction and hear what they want to hear and in the process ‘dil ki aag thandi kar lete haiN to’, why should anyone grudge them that? After all a few individuals commit crime but the entire community bears the brunt of its consequences. It is no use telling that a handful renegades are behind crimes, the community at receiving end will paint all of them with the same brush, that’s they way people are. Who says people are rational all the time, if they were, will there ever be riots?

Actually, I am a fan of Josh Malihabadi. If you say, then you must be right, but there is fundamental error in narrative Perhaps he suppressed some info.

Buddha was an explorer, the only one with scientific temperament. Most of his early life was spent on quest for meaning of life. Others like Mohammed and Christ appear to be possessed men.

Songs of Dissonance
One example was Actor Dharmendra. When canvassing for his candidature to Lok Shabha( Lower house in Indian Parliament), the jerk said `` make me a dictator for five years and I will set things right for good``. Asshole didn`t even think he was fighting an election in a democratic setup.

Generally people tend to be simplistic. Either they do not have time or are incapable of looking at complexity of life. If a democratic setup fails to deliver, the first reaction of common guy is to line up the rascals and shoot them in a public square. Countless dictatorships have failed but again the only answer they seek is another one. It doesn’t appear to them that it is easy to shoot but to identify crooks from innocents is a very complex process.

Question is, is brain a computer?
In what way it is different from a computer? If it is a computer, then life can be duplicated. In other words an act of God can be accomplished by humans.
The only difference I see in a computer and brain is:
A) Mind is aware
B) Mind is instinctive ( if there is a thing like that)

When scientists say universe is expanding I used to think what they meant was that matter is spreading deeper into empty space. Now I realize that actually space is stretching. There is no limit of universe in same way as earth has no edge. My idea of universe was that there is a center of universe and then a huge sphere of matter surrounding it and then limitless empty space. That’s not the fact. Matter is uniformly distributed all over the universe there is no center just as there is no edge. Space is folded in the same way as we fold long slender wire into a loop. The fact is that when universe was created some 14 billion years ago in a big bang the entire universe was compressed in just a point called singularity. All this is derivable through General theory of Relativity / Quantum Mechanics as well as a large part of this theory has been verified through observations. There are still some loose ends but there is general consensus on origin of universe.
What is not however clear is who set the initial parameters for singularity or if they were just random! Similarly we are stuck at the origin of evolution i.e. life evolved from mono-cellular life form in primordial sea is agreed. But whether rich organic sea made membrane which folded into cell and life began on its own due to presence of amino acids which are basic building blocks or first cell was seeded into primordial sea is a matter of debate.
Does any Mullah or Pundit understand this?
