Bin Laden And Hiroshima
Posted by rsribhar Aug 7, 2005 05:49 pm
This is pathetic. I have to change nics just to avoid the inexplicable Chowk filter. Now Mr. rsridhar will get upset that I used a nic with some of the letters of the alphabet that are in common with his nic. :)

Here is the filtered out message:

Hoobhoya San,

{``Was`nt Bhutto`s grand mother a Hindu woman from Maharashtra? ``}

Yes, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto`s mother was from a Hindu background. She was also Nehru`s ``girl friend`` before befriending Sir Shah Nawaz Bhutto, ZAB`s dad. This much is public knowledge.
During the reign of Zia-ul-Haq, a nasty rumor was circulated that the elder Mrs. Bhutto came to Mr. Shahnawaz, already impregnated by you know who. Much was made about this possiblity and people actually saw similarities in the features of ZAB and Nehru. It was also claimed that Indira cut ZAB some slack at Simla precisely because she started liking him as a younger brother (OK half of a younger brother!). It was considered very apropos when Rajiv sat together with Benazir when both were heading up their countries` respective governments - they looked like cousins. Of course, all this is hearsay.

Romair #165 {``It would kind of cool to start a religion>``}

I always knew there was something terribly wrong with you. That is exactly why all this time I had avoided interacting with you. Now that you have seen fit to insult my Turkish relatives, I am honor-bound to eradicate you before your stupid religion takes root. Consider yourself a martyr, Romanian.

babu,
As we celebrate the 60th anniversay of the Hiroshima tragedy, you ask me {``What is so wrong about WW I, WW II, Vietnam, Korea, Kosovo or Iraq I ?
Are you fond of Nazi or Imperial Japan or North Korean dictator or Saddam ?``}

Getting rid of dictators is fine - but destroying millions of civilians while doing so is in the ``difficult to support`` category.

{``Look at the history of the Muslim peoples during the same time period.``}

I have and you know very well my opinion about Moose Limb civility. :)

{``pet terrorists by financing it with money earned through ventures involving India reeks of an Al-Queda - style operation. I hope that the FBI is on your tail. ``}

Ajeya,
Not only is the FBI on his tail, it has it under microscopic surveillance. Also, Captain Romair is being investigated by the interfaith shinterfaith police for attempting to start his own Koresh/Waco/Jonestown type of a ``religion.``

#62, Neferitty,
I used the word ``comdemn`` that means to preserve or to protect. It is related to the word ``condom`` which has a similar meaning for different reasons. Both words then produce the common term ``condominium`` which is an aggregate of ``condom`` and ``pandemonium.`` It refers to a building that has unrestricted preservation.

You did not know that I was an entymologist - That is a person who studies incest.

Your friend,
Salim

babu #24, Praful Bidwai says {``Radioactive poisons persist and remain dangerous for years, some for tens of thousands of years. For instance, the half-life of plutonium-239, which India uses in its bombs, is 24,400 years. And the half-life of uranium-235, which Pakistan uses in its bombs, is 710 million years!``}

This means a lot to me. Personally, I feel so much better by the 24,400 years compared to the 710 million years. I mean, babu, this is a huge difference - no wonder I dislike those damned Pakis so much. They are such extremists.

{``people do not believe that you are married...it`s for obvious reasons...which is due to your lies from day one on chowk...remember when you said that you are a middle aged professor ...then you reported to be single, working in a strip joint and then you got a job and a wife in Turkey...so all that bs has eroded your crediblity...now tp prove to the good people of chowk that you are mattied...please post your and ypour wife`s shadi ki picture along with a copy of the nikahnama...and then see how every one believes you and loves like i do...
your only genuine friend on chowk... ``}

Khamkhwa,
If you are my only genuine friend on Chowk, I am glad that I don`t have any genuine enemeies. :)

If you failed to see the humor in the one message where I played the middle-aged college professor, then you are indeed comedy-challenged and I can`t help you. Lack of humor is a normal trait among Pakis and might just be the real root of their problems.

Thank God I live in Turkey, where, unlike Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Iran, couples do not need to carry their wedding pictures and ``nikahnamas`` with them in their wallets and purses. BTW, I no longer manage a strip joint, so please don`t expect me to find you a job there.

I am flattered that you have attempted to follow my life so thoroughly. When are you writing your book?

Salim

Harimau #167, {``disadvantaged under 300+ years of rule by the Nizam dynasty who, if my memory serves me right, were Hindus and were demanding integration with India in August 1947.``}

Harry,
That`s what I like about Chowk - you learn something new every day. :)

#152, {``They were having a lot of problem with that, the last time, we met.........I wonder if he ever got married.......``}

If one`s mixed parentage, as far as religion is concerned, becomes a problem with getting married then one has much bigger problems than getting married. :)

#143, I always thought that the ``People of the Book`` stuff was very confusing. Most of Muslims` major struggles were with the so-called ``People of the Book.``

By the way, Dillidost,
Don`t forget Raj Babbar and his wife - was it Nadira?

Two of my own female cousins in Jaipur are married to wonderfu Hindu husbands.

What matters most is that people are happy. I am very happy - even though my wife is a Sunni.

Salim.

#587, Arjun responding to Romair`s #578 {``You don`t know what you`re talking about...do you even know how much good people make in India....``}

That`s right. The recent story about Tata Consulting trying to go into a joint venture with a Paki firm and open a training site in Lahore is due to this disparity in wages. Indian salaries for IT have skyrocketed - thus making Pakistan a welcome resource for trained and cheap labor.

``If you speak the truth, you only have to say it once.``
