Shortlived Promise
tournament we have in Karachi .
What I think *and this is what I really think* is that Indian
Cricket Board has this North-South Divide which often ends up in
chopping some deserving talent mostly from Northern India somehow.
It`s always is hard for new-telent to come foward and it is equally
hard to spot them but what happens after selection (specially in
India and Pakistan ) is something which either destroy`s the new
player or make him a hero.
New Talented players are raw , they have to be refined and this process
often takes more then 5-6 International Tests , more then 30 One-Days and
lot of practice and this is where Pakistanis are good at and Indians are not
(agree or not) . Pakistanis are always willing to give youngsters a chance ,
not once or twice but for atleast a season but Indians don`t somehow , either
because of internal politics or they have too many reserves - something which
is harmful in longterm .
Australia is a prime example , full of aged players blocking new talent for years
and now they end up with talented players of past who should have been given a chance
before but Australia was doing too well so why bother? this mentality led to there
Ashes Defeat to pussy cats Brits .

All this reminded me off my college days and the inter-college tournament we have in Karachi .

The Ground Beneath Pakistan’s Feet
On Media some observations,
a) Dr. Shahid Mehmood , is either confused or plays for the audience , there are very few men in Pakistani Media who actually speaks the `bitter truths` and Dr.Shahid Mehmood has no guts to speak such truth . He emotionally blackmail innocent viewers ( who are quite emotional ) by using `Islam` -
b) ARY : has been used as PPP`s Publicity Tool
c) GEO: too powerful , enjoys huge backup team and money and employees are mostly MQM men or has MQM influence in it ( ofcourse as this channel is mostly working from Karachi ) - very liberal yet confused , I think they should start two channels one news and other entertainment -

This article is more about `media` then `earthquake` , astonishing how media over shadow everything and anything . Article should have been `Pakistani Media and Earthquake` something like that , anyhow, much has been said about earthquake , I wish we stop talking about it and do something on field or something which has a direct effect on someone`s life without using `loud speakers` .On Media some observations,

Deadly Earthquake
I feel for those 200 girls who died in Mansehra, NWFP , Pakistan , I feel for my country`s poor soldiers who died , I feel for my mothers, sisters, brothers and others who lost there lives and relatives today . But what I learned today is that in momments of grief , we all are standing up togather from Karachi to Kyber , from Quetta to Muzzaffarabad from Islamabad to Gujar Khan , atleast for today we are united . May Allah give us strength and energy to build , what we lost .
Pakistan Zindabad !

Growing Up Red
As for Faiz Sahab , I never read his poetry but I admire him for his courage , courage to stand up against a system which is based on the theory of * smashing heads to climb up to prosperity *
Urstruly Hazur, it`s not athiests and godless people who thinks of human`s as objects but capitalists *a product of which is religionists* who thinks of humans as objects and kill them in the name of god..
